We want your vacation at Destin Gulfgate to be as relaxing and stress free as possible - just as you do. We've outlined some things to plan ahead of time to make your arrival easy and worry free! RENTAL CARS If you are arriving by air and plan to rent a car, we highly recommend you reserve in advance.
We are happy to welcome our guests and show you a few of the amenities that are available on this beautiful beachfront property. Each condo has their own private 30' balcony, overlooking the sugary white sands and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Access to a well-equipped fitness center. This includes 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, a stationary bike, cable station and free weights.
From I-10 take the US-331 exit, EXIT 85, toward Freeport. Turn left on US-331 S/Freeport Rd/SR-83 S. Continue to follow US-331 S/SR-83 S for 24 miles. Turn right onto US-98 W/SR-30 W and continue 17 miles. Turn left onto Scenic Highway 98. Your destination will be ahead on the right. Start out going north on SR-85 N toward SR-190 / Valparaiso Pky for 3.5 miles.

We have been staying at the gulfgate for 20+ years and it’s the best there is. The condos are always clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Additionally, bc it isn’t a ginormous property, there is a sense of privacy and more security. We love the Gulfgate and it truly feels like our home away from home.

So much better than a normal hotel! An entire fully furnished condo with a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit, right on the beach! Beautiful view of the emerald-green waters, great size balcony for a large party, and you can fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the ocean! Plus, they reserve chairs and an umbrella for you on the beach. And if you forgot something, or just want to pack light, there is a brand-new Wal-Mart across the street! I would definitely revisit again!

Clean, well managed condo group. You get the small town feel and service with the same amenities and beach access as some of the biggest places in Destin. Their pool is very good for little kids as well, with a wade in section in addition to the deeper end. It would be nice to be able to order food or drinks out there but maybe we'll see that in the future.
Another note to differentiate this property, a lot of condos we've stayed at have outdoor grills but I've never seen one kept as clean as this one. I'd actually cook out here sometime.

Sierra and Emily were amazing. After some unforeseen circumstances, we needed a place to stay short notice. They were able to accommodate an early arrival check-in, which was very necessary as we had a wedding to attend later that day. They made it completely stress free. The condo that we stayed in was beautiful and had amazing views of the beach and water. After we checked out and were already several hours away, my daughter realized she left something hanging in the closet. We called the front desk, they retrieved the item, and it was put in the mail yesterday. Our family had a great vacation

Hands down the best condo we have stayed in while visiting Destin. The employees were all accommodating and helpful and our condo was absolutely beautiful. Beach service was nice as well and was set up for us early in the day. We stayed in unit 905 and it was gorgeous! This will be our new place to stay.

Love the size and location of Condos. Most are very nice, some need updates. The beach is perfect, not crowded, beautiful. Condos close enough to beach to see dolphins in water. Prices have gotten higher, too high peak season for most of us. The internet service has been lousy for the 3 weeks we have been here, off and on. The staff at desk very friendly. Condos clean, but I am very picky and hate to see dust on lampshades, a silly thing but once a year sweep them.

What an incredible vacation we had here at the Destin Gulfgate condo complex! We rented unit 603, which had recently been renovated. Kristi, one of the managers, was always available with a helpful hint about restaurants and activities. Our unit was gulf front with an incredible balcony that runs the length of the 2-bedroom unit. We paid approx. $175 per night, which is less expensive than most hotels in the area. This gave us both a fully functional kitchen, a washer and dryer, as well as assigned underground parking, and an amazing ocean front view from the two sets of sliding glass doors
