The rooms were newly renovated. Large kitchen with all of the dishes for eating meals. We cooked breakfast daily. The unit was broken out into three sections, bedroom, kitchen and living room. The bathroom was small but had been updated. There were two pools and a hiot tub. We loved using the hot tub every evening. We used the fitness center every morning. There wss a movie room, shuffle board and put put golf on the premises as well. Don't get a room facing the pool, there was a strong smell of chlorine in the courtyard. The hotel is centrally located with eady access to beacbes, restaurants and

Inside pool and hot tub are very nice. Many activities for no charge. Rooms are dated but well maintained. Mostly older clientele.

Let me start by saying that every single person that’s a part of the staff was friendly and ready to answer any questions I had. The property seemed a little older but I would say this place is a hidden gem. Our room was spacious and clean. The kitchenette had everything we needed and came in handy. I was excited to see we got a room on the top floor facing the pool but a few things to keep in mind is that there was a strong chlorine smell (that we got used to after a bit), the hallway light was a bit bright when trying to sleep and there was only blinds with no curtains and people get up very

Bed bugs!
This hotel is ok. They could most definitely work on there cleanliness. Floors were hideous! The floors look ok but when you look at your dirty feet you will know to keep on shoes. Our tub was dirty when we got there. We bought sheets from home but we still kept getting little bites. My daughter had three spot on her face and my husband had some on his legs.As I removed the sheets to leave I found bed bugs underneath.I left the sheets there.I was disappointed.I told the guy at the front desk at check out and he told me he was gonna send someone up to verify.I didn't have time to wait for

To be honest I was going to leave 3 stars after our experience. The room is "ok" as far as cleaning. There was a used blanket on a shelf in the room and the refrigerator had a very strong smell of fish. Do NOT let housekeeping in your room while you are there. I highly recommend you just get extra towels and blankets yourselves. We had an incident with housekeeping and the manager quickly got everything taken care and resolved the issue to our satisfaction but if we had another chance we would have avoided the whole situation. I gave the extra star because of how well the manager did with helping

When it rained we had a major waterfall in front of our room& flooding on the walkway, the TV is so small& low that you can't watch it in bed. Pool closes at 10pm. Customer Service has been great so far.

The pool is gorgeous and cute other amenities, but the room looks horrible. If they would do some simple room upgrades and get the old smell out they definitely would get more revenue.

Love the amenities of the hotel, great place to stay. However there not big on cleaning your room or changing your bed linens upon request. But very kid friendly and great place to stay with the family. I WOULD LIKE TO SHOUT OUT CHARLES the worker for trying to make sure we had a great stay, he went above and behind for all the families that attended #ClubDestin Club Destin

I have no idea why everyone is rating this place so brutally. I love it. I checked in about an hour ago and now this is my favorite place I've ever been to as far as hotels go. Free waters, dishes, skillets and everything you'll need. Nice beds, TV is nice, the couch is comfortable and everything is so so clean. The people up front are AWESOME. the girl that checked us in was so sweet and patient, not minding explaining anything and was so knowledgeable. In love with this place, and if the construction is why you don't want to come, don't worry. You can't even tell. This

This hotel is NOT a resort, but rather a place where you would stay ONLY to shower and sleep for a few hours. I would not vacation here at all. The room was cleaner than I though it would be, based on all the other reviews. However, the health department needs to visit this place and check out the air conditioners. Our cooled nicely, but we both left with sinus infections. There must be mold or mildew trapped inside, like in the filter or something. There is an old smell in the room and the furniture is quite dusty. I gave it the 2nd star because the location is decent. Would I recommend? Probably

ZERO stars if it were possible. Everything is old and as you walk into the room it all looks dirty, honestly I was afraid to touch anything. There were razors and paper left on the bathroom from the previous guests, and it looked like no one had bother to even clean the toilet or bathtub at all. There are mold stains on the bathroom ceiling, the sink has rust all over it and the walls have weird stains on them. The bed sheets were super itchy and you could feel the bed was covered in bumps. I didn't even used the comforters because I was just to afraid to even touch them, so I used my own

This is the worst place I've ever had the misfortune of staying at. I walked into the room and didn't want to touch anything because it all looked dirty and neglected. The couch had this horrible stench akin to toenail crud that was so bad we felt compelled to go out and buy a disinfectant spray. After spraying it multiple times a day for several days, it still smells horrible. Really don't want to think too much about what kind of mold or bacteria is brewing in there... The rooms themselves smell. The furniture is stained. Everything is outdated. The rest of the accommodations left

This place is not recommended. The rooms were small, furniture was old. Everything about the bathroom and bedrooms were totally dated. This is an affiliate timeshare destination and not your four or five star type resort.

Give it two stars for cleanliness..

First and only time staying at this place. I agree with everyone giving them bad reviews. We echo everything they said and we'll add, we have at least 5 rooms. It's a big group that came and each family got a room. Unfortunately one of our rooms was burglarized and a purse stolen. Obviously the front desk and the deputy's office was called. To say the "general manager" was not only not helpful but completely insensitive is putting it lightly. That man went as far as blaming us and suggesting we misplaced the purse. He questioned everything we said and kept trying to turn

Again, disappointing. The staff at Club Destin has responded to my review on other sites, and made some claims about Fall Break being in full swing and that they supposedly offered me the opportunity to cancel. Below is my response to their response:

While I'm aware that a few states may have begun Fall Breaks, to claim that "Fall Break is in full swing" may be a bit of an exaggeration.

What isn't an exaggeration but, instead, a full blown lie in your response is your claim about the offer to cancel. Not once did I mention a desire to cancel, nor did I ever receive an offer

Wow... where to begin... We made our reservations based on the pictures available on their website and price and broke rule # 1: Remember you always get what you pay for!

The lobby was recently renovated and was very nice, but that is about all of the good things I can say about this "resort".

They place is really low budget... the rooms are sketchy at best. So if you are a 21 year old looking for a place to party, there is really anything you could destroy.

The doors all open to the outside and their are no curtains to keep light out. The bathroom is microscopic. The air conditioner

Will start with the positive.... on-site laundry is nice, as is pool. Children activities were nice too. Location to beaches is great as is having healthy food establishments Subway, Smoothie King and an upscale liquor store walking distance right across the road.

However, the Club Destin Resort is neither a "club" nor a "resort." They also seems to harness the term "condominium" for the sole purpose of circumventing the daily cleaning service associated with hotels. These are not condos.

Rooms and grounds could have been cleaner and are in real need of renovation

In order to get in the room we had to wade through approximately 2 inches water from a leak extending approximately 6 to 8 feet in length. The hand towel was dirty with lipstick and the decor Was s from the 70s. For well over $200. A night they could have updated the hotel and kept it clean. While we complained and ask for a refund they refused.

I read mix reviews about this place, but it was the only place available across from the beach & allowed 21 years of age to book during this past memorial weekend.

The downside of this place was that they had no elevators, so you had to carry everything up the stairs. Another, our room entrance was in the inside, which where the indoor pool was located, so all you smelled was chlorine. Our room had a bit of smell of chlorine as well, but we were prepared with candles (after reading other reviews). They put us in a room where the kitchen was put to the side, which was VERY VERY small. Only
