We, at Sequoyah Pointe Living Center know that "We Do It Better" than other nursing homes. We do more than we are required to make certain that our direct care staff is delivering the care that our Residents need. Our facility uses electronic charts for documenting the care provided our Residents. Those charts can be reviewed from anywhere in the world.
Together with our Company Nurse and our Chief Clinical Officer, our highly trained and very experienced independent consultants constantly review our electronic charts to make certain that the best care is delivered. At Sequoyah Pointe we believe in the Golden Rule - treating your loved ones as we would expect to be treated.

Services
Sequoyah Pointe Living Center has been providing excellent care for Owasso area families for over 35 years. There is a definite advantage to having Sister Homes close by. All of the staff in all of the buildings are trained on the same systems and clinical protocols. In times of need, Sequoyah Pointe Living Center can count on its Sister Homes to help!
We take great pride in the amazing results our Therapy team is able to achieve, and we witness, every day, the amazement when a Resident realizes for the first time that the dreadful results of a terrible accident, joint replacement surgery or a degenerative disease have been completely or substantially reversed by professionally delivered Therapy with the assistance of professional, competent and caring Therapists.
In those cases our highly trained Therapy Team works with your physician to develop a treatment plan to improve strength, range of motion and flexibility to help you return to an active lifestyle. In the case of strokes or heart attacks Speech Therapists teach us how to swallow and talk again. A wide variety of services falls under the category of Therapy and at Sequoyah Pointe Living Center we can provide them all.
Sequoyah Pointe Living Center contracts with Stein Therapy Company for all of our Residents' Therapy needs. Stein employs only the best therapists and they are responsive to our Residents' needs, respectful of each individual Residents' ability to progress and work diligently to help our Residents achieve their goals.
Sequoyah Pointe Living Center's Physical Therapy room is located in the heart of the facility and provides the latest and best equipment. The Therapy Equipment was selected by a professional Therapist who has worked extensively in Skilled Nursing Facilities and in Long Term Care for several years. Skilled Residents who come to Sequoyah Pointe Living Center for Therapy will have the very best equipment.

Not sure I should even give a star, but unfortunately that's the only way I can leave a review. This "facility" could possibly be the worst place you send your loved one to live or the worst place you could work. If you want to get yelled at in FRONT of the residents and degraded, this job is for you. If you want to get yelled at by a nurse, this job is for you. They don't care if all the aides call in. They refuse to help. They will check your residents before you leave and verify they are clean and then write you up for leaving "a mess". Your memaw and papa are not being taken care of. State

Absolutely trash of a place.
First, they forgot to administer medicine to my grandmother so she had to miss out on physical therapy sessions because she was in too much pain, after she tried to remind them, Twice! The whole reason she was there!!
Second, she woke up one morning and was having a heart attack so she tried to call the nurses and nobody answered. She finally used her cell phone to call her son and he called an ambulance for her. Once the EMT arrived he was also upset with how they handled the situation and all the lady said was “we were assessing the situation, we had it under

My dad stayed here 10 days. The staff were very slow to respond. The bed was uncomfortable. They served the food cold and said the best way for him to get warm food would be to go to the dining room which was very challenging with the severe pain he has in his spine from cancer. Worst of all, on his last day he was left for God only knows how long in his own feces and urine. Would never recommend this place to anyone!

My uncle was a resident for 9!years at Sequoyah Pointe. He was handicapped from birth, and needed maximum care in his later years.
The wonderful caregivers at this home took him in as beloved family. They showed a level of care and concern and real love!!! to my beloved uncle. I would come to visit him from CA several times a year and I was always blown away by these kind, devouted , caring individuals- from the cafeteria, to the laundry room staff, to the aides, nurses assistants and DON! Wow! You won't be impressed by the beauty or designer decorations, but really, who cares!? All the

My mother was in skilled nursing there for 10 days, and the only reason I'm giving them a 2 is that the PT was very good, and several of the nurses were trying. But the overall level of medical care she got there was very lacking. Poor communication between the staff, no follow through. Missed medication, late medication. She had an appointment with her surgeon they told us they'd take her to, but when the time came they didn't because they didn't have a car to take her.
Do not send anyone with anything serious to their skilled nursing.
Oh, and please discount the Google

After having a horrible experience at another facility in Owasso we came to Sequoyah Pointe. I was very impressed. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The facility was clean, there wasn’t a “nursing home” smell. They took care of not only the patient but the family. We ended with hospice and the passing of a loved one and they cared for her and us every step of the way.

*** Update*** since writing my review, they called APS on my father, citing he left AMA. He did not leave AMA, insurance ran out and they kicked him out, offering a few home health agencies to see him at home. Beware, they do this to several families so I've been told. APS found nothing wrong, I had documentation of his insurance and discharging info along with the home health, PT, OT and Sitter service I use and the doc that made the home visit last week. Nice try SPLC, nice try. I now give you a 1 star just because that is the minimum I can give otherwise I'd give you none. Oh, and thanks for

Do not leave your loved ones here if you really care! They leave their residents to lay in their own filth, and god help you if they have any kind of issues they will only call their doctor instead of making appointments they don't go to. She was supposed to see a heart doctor every 3 to 6 months only saw one twice. And if you have a medical power of attorney they will not follow it. If they ask to go to the hospital or family members ask to take them to the hospital they will spend hours convincing you they don't need to go my grandmother just died because of their neglect and we couldn't reverse
