Established in 1948, we work with all types of special occasion events, big and small, throughout the entire New York and the tri-state area. Jack & Rose began in Manhattan in 1928 with a young couple, named Jack and Rose, who shared a love of flowers.
Evolving from an original focus in retail, the company was founded and opened its first design showroom in Fresh Meadows, Queens in 1948. It has since grown to become one of the leading floral design and special occasion production studios in New York today.

What a terrible experience. If i could give zero stars i would but we don’t have that option.
Here is why:
1. The first appointment, as expected, is so wonderful. They offer you everything including great prices. Oh, but the offer is only good for that day, take it or leave it. They don’t even take cards. They have an atm machine in their establishment that charges $5 per transaction. Cash only.
2. The contract is almost unreadable. Very hard to understand. Lots of fine print all over the place. They make you sing almost every paragraph. Not transparent at all. You can’t argue with them

My son and his partner were to get married at Stonebridge Country Club October 2020. They received text messages asking for the second deposit that was due. But because of rescheduling the wedding technically it was not due at that time.. Due to Covid they rescheduled the wedding 3 separate times without a new date in mind until the pandemic was over. But were married in a private ceremony. I politely asked numerous times for a refund or credit and was denied. Stonebridge reached out on my behalf and they agreed to give a $500- credit. After finding out my Original florist went out of business, (without saying a word to her clients) we needed a new to find a new florist ASAP. Came across Jack and Rose via The Knot. Reached out, and got an immediate response. Went In for a consultation, and everything went well. Very friendly, great conversation. Really understood what I wanted. The sweetest on earth. Came up with an idea to honor my mother who passed away, and that really meant a lot to me. I really appreciate everything! Very fair with their prices. Don’t use them! They sound great and are good sales people but trash service. They delayed my wedding because they were late. Lied to us and spray painted the flowers which ruined my wife’s wedding dress and our card box. Wouldn’t set up all the flowers and my family had to do it. Was of thousands of dollars. I’d rather hire a super market florist for my next event.

Worst business to work with. Very poor communication. During the beginning of covid times they disappeared. They speak passively aggressively. They did not return any funds. I have seen the new positive reviews but they are fake positive reviews. They are thieves and I will encourage anyone who is looking for a florist to look elsewhere. Also if you scroll you will see many negative reviews during the pandemic because they weren't prepared. And instead of owning up to their faults they will fight against you just to save face. But instead they keep burning it down.

BEST SERVICE OF ALL OF OUR VENDORS.
They were there at every turn. I need a lot of attention, and Jack and Rose delivered it seamlessly. They were always there to answer any question and satisfy any need. My Venue was Not so attentive to me, as they were just money hungry. Jack and Rose actually never asked us for a follow up deposit, even though it was expected. Other vendors wanted to be paid up front, but not here.
They were so giving especially during the Pandemic. They helped up by rescheduling our date 3 times and actually delivered and setup outside their delivery area.. My cousin got

This review started as a 3 but Jack and Roses dishonesty (making fake reviews that directly challenge negative reviews & is in all caps) is unacceptable.
Now for my actual review......customer service, bridal party flowers and delivery gets no complaints from me. This is an old school florist with no knowledge of current floral trends or much creativity. I provided more than enough visuals for my wedding & although the centerpieces came out good and their complimentary rose within the vases were appreciated, it was not as full as I requested (I paid extra for fullness).

Took only a cash deposit of $1000 where we had keep following up with them as we were under 4 weeks from our wedding.

Worst florist to go to I would never recommend your shop.. This shop did my friend wedding over the summer 2021 and let me tell you, the flowers look so basic and cheap and they were not fresh..The poor bride cried when she saw them!! and then my friend was telling me how bad the customer service was and whenever she tried to reach the florist for any updates on the flowers she would called countless times and leave so many voicemails but no one was calling her back but whenever the florist needs to get paid she would be quick to call... I cannot even put in words just how happy I was on my wedding day thanks to the beautiful work of Jack and Rose. Jack and Rose had done my parents wedding 30 years ago, along with my brother and sister in law’s about 15 years ago, so we definitely went with them based on good past experiences. My flowers were so beautiful and amazing, I was blown away. They were better than I could’ve even imagined and expected! Jack and Rose was a total and utter disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone who wants to have one less thing to stress about on their special day. The flowers that were delivered to my venue seemed as if they were on its death bed and smaller than the sample shown. When the venue tried calling, no one was available to answer. In addition, the contract said flower petals would be on the bridal table , but that was not fulfilled. In addition, the florist knew I was expecting 125 guest and only offered to make 10 centerpieces. My father created centerpieces that were much better

So far I met with this florist and booked them for my wedding date based on a review from a family friend who has lived in the area for 30 years and the wedding wire app. They were extremely kind and perceptive of what style I wanted and helped to identify what flowers I wanted based on photos I brought with me. Originally I didn’t want a florist due to cost. I would give them negative starts but it's not an option. DO NOT do business with them. We used them for our daughters wedding and the flowers came withered and brown. We notified them immediately upon arrival that the flowers were wilted and brown my husband complained to the delivery man and he acknowledged it as well. My husband also wrote it on the invoice.We called and messages them immediately and no one answered. This florist went above and beyond anything I could have ever asked for.
I had a funeral to attend and needed to find an arrangement for the following day, and I specifically wanted sunflowers.
(Apparently, because of the flooding in South America their's a national shortage, or so I thought).

As a "Covid" bride, I had limited opportunity to shop around for florists for my upcoming October 2021 wedding. Unfortunately, I found my way to Jack and Rose Florist, which has turned out to be the most UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE, and CONDESCENDING business I have ever worked with, leaving my fiancé and I with no choice but to end our contract with them with just seven months until our wedding date. If you are a Long Island bride I highly advise you to read many reviews & search Facebook reviews before ultimately deciding to use Jack&Rose. Unfortunately, we had put down a deposit prior to learning of their poor reputation and prior to the pandemic. We discovered this company through our Lessings Venue which promoted them as a preferred vendor. Since then they have been removed as a preferred vendor per our venue due to SO many complaints from couples. Shadyyyy. Only flower vendor I saw that uses fake flowers for display. Everything looks so outdated inside. They also need to do some major spring cleaning in there. The dust accumulated on the table fan was beyond ridiculous and chair covers was all dirty.
If you only care about cheap prices then go check them out. However, note they will probably tell you that today is the last day of their sale and you have until a certain time for that price.

They write fake reviews on the knot because they are all the same wording and if you don't trust me go over to the KNOT right now. This company needs to close down. They are very rude and have absolutely no regard for their customers, I overheard them calling one customer a B**** because she decided not to do business with them. One star is even being generous! My wedding was 6 months ago and I am still fighting for my deposit back from jack & rose. If the owner spent as much time answering these reviews and he did caring for his customers I'm sure these reviews would be much better! Had to take jack and rose to small claims court. Like other reviews have mentioned hours are not friendly to work schedules and impossible to ever reach someone unless it's for a negative matter. I have many nasty emails from the owner himself. Save yourself the stress and find a better vendor

We waited a few days to post this review because we were conflicted. We gave Jack and Rose 4 stars because in the end the final product was everything we could ask for. The reason we were conflicted was the service. The whole process felt like a transaction and trying to get in contact with them is nearly impossible. Appointment times are not very friendly to work schedules. Almost every time we went back after our initial visit we could tell the lady didn't remember who we were and we actually had to remind her why we were there (we had appointments).
