Good company; great lakeside view… clean room to top it all off… good place to wind down the first day of a New England trip that kicked off from the lower Midwest…

Came here because of storm out in the lake. Ended renting a slip and eating a fantastic dinner on their outside deck. Great place hidden at the south east end of the bay.

Probably the most delicious meal I've had in a very long time! We got stuck in a storm on the Lake and ended up needing somewhere to dock overnight. We called and they were happy to allow us to dock overnight and of course we had to eat dinner! Myself, my parents, and my children all were raving about how amazing the food was! Our waitress was also phenomenal!

Twice now we've ordered the Delmonico Steak at 'fair market price' , which means expensive, at $41, and it was less than edible. We received no discount the first time and a slight credit the second time being told that that's the way that cut of meat is - fatty and grizley. For that kind of money, it shouldn't be. In hind site, I don't believe it was a Delmonico steak that we got even though that's what the menu said. They are typically much thicker and good sized. They just put it on a really small plate. They ran out of scallops also, so 3 of the menu entrees were not available. On a high note

Absolutely spectacular views from the outside café'. The restroom facilities were pristine, the service prompt and friendly and the menu selections unique and varied. I had the veggie burger and homemade chips, Yum! My daughter's food disappeared quickly so I imagine it too was very good. We did not stay there which is the only reason I didn't give it five stars. I can't really give you an opinion about the rooms but I did see they rent kayaks and bikes, have plenty of outdoor seating, and it looks like the area offers plenty of activities.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, excellent food, fantastic service. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. We couldn’t have chosen a nicer place. It was our first time there. We will definitely be back and encourage others!!

What a find! Excellent food in a beautiful setting. Service was excellent. I sat on the patio overlooking Little Sodus Bay and enjoyed the veggie burger and fries with a spiked lavender lemonade. Everything was super fresh and delicious. I didn't stay overnight, but it looks like a great place for a weekend. The have a lovely yard, canoe and longboard rental and are minutes from a quaint and vibrant Main Street.

Love this place, but they advertised Sunday brunch on their website, when we got there on a beautiful Sunday morning, we discerned they no longer serve brunch! Still a lovely spot and there was a singer also, which was really enjoyable. Food was very good and the view and ambience is perfect.

Wonderful can't say enough. About this hidden gem .First the hostesss came out to greet us as we were leaning our bicycles up against a fence . We biked the trail from Kato to fairhaven we had six in our group ,the hostess let us know what they had going on that day and would have a table on the beautiful deck overlooking the bay . our server Marsha was lovely and attentive . The views fantastic . Throughout our entire meal we were treated like special guest . Thank you so much for your hospitality...

PBH was a fantastic experience! We went on a beautiful Friday evening to enjoy dining on the deck. The place was packed but everyone was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. We ordered drinks (and an appetizer, per state mandates) at the bar and enjoyed making new friends while we waited for our table. We were seated on the deck and had a breathtakingly beautiful view of the sunset while we enjoyed our delicious meal. I ordered scallops scampi and my friend enjoyed the chicken parm. Everything came out hot and fresh and cooked to perfection. The gluten free pasta was actually really delicious

Great food and a beautiful outdoor seating area at a decent price. My husband is a pretty picky eater, and he said that the steak he had at the Pleasant Beach Hotel may be the best he's ever had! And my scallops were perfect!

When Harborfest comes to Oswego with its apocalyptic hoards of shirtless, hooting, semi-literate cheap beer enthusiasts and public urinators, I will lock up my just-off-Bridge-Street summer apartment and flee to Fairhaven, West Central New York's answer to Rivendell. By far the fairest haven to be had in Fairhaven is the Pleasant Beach Hotel. I haven't eaten dinner here. But I have relaxed on the wrap-around balcony with a good bottle of wine, watching a summer storm roll in off Lake Ontario (until the mosquitos drove me inside). I have also slept later than I should have in their deliciously

The water view and the indoor decor are great.

We sat on the deck around mid afternoon for drinks and early lunch. The food was okay. I had the seafood gratin (shrimp was overdone, but the crab and scallops were good). The vegetable side was small and cold. My husband had the turkey Reuben which was good, but he ordered fries and got chips instead.

We finished eating, and stayed for drinks with a friend. We were asked to leave the deck if we wouldn't be ordering more food. It was then difficult to track down and pay for our prior meal.

The staff seemed very friendly with the locals

Pleasant Beach is awesome. It used to be one of many resort-type places in Fair Haven back in the day, and the decor and atmosphere really speak to that - "junktiques," as they're referred to on the menu, abound. It's very cozy. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, there's a beautiful view of the inlet, even when the weather forces you to eat inside instead of on the deck.

The food is quite good as well. The homemade potato chips with beer dip are an excellent appetizer, although the last time I was there the beer dip seemed a bit blander than it has been in the past

Great place! Great view and friendly people. The menu is more than adequate -- careful navigation of the menu will not disappoint - try burger & sweet potato fries, wings, mussels in wine sauce, & a good draft beer.

As for the occasional overwhelmed waitress - realize that good help is hard to find in the Empire State.

I found the owners to be very accommodating. Several members of our extended family stayed there for a funeral. The rooms were lovely, the hosts were gracious, and both breakfast and the luncheon we had there were fine.

I was impressed - and I generally am not easy to impress.

I just discovered this place yesterday and, while I did not eat any food there and can't speak towards the quality of the restaurant, I can say that this is a fantastic place to sit outside on a beautiful day and have a cocktail or three. They were nice enough to open the bar 30 minutes early for me and my friends and proceeded to ply us with some very well made cocktails while we watched the sailboats in the bay. The make a very good Manhattan and (surprisingly) one of the best mojitos I've ever had. Their drink prices were very reasonable considering the beautiful location but I
