Here is my short discussion on the foundational principles in building trust and respect in doctor-patient interactions from the Shen-Hammer model, including pulse and other diagnostics, in framing narratives around patients' experiences of symptoms and dis-ease, as well as on the topic of zhuyou (incantatory medicine).

The Center for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine is the only medical clinic in New Jersey practicing Shen-Hammer aka Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis (CCPD), and Ross Rosen is one of a very small group of practitioners world-wide to be certified to practice as well as teach this pulse system directly by Dr. Leon Hammer.
