What is Acupuncture? Acupuncture is one of the many branches of Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles into specific points along the course of the meridians. Acupuncture is used to restore the normal balance and flow of Qi (chee) so organs and bodily systems can work together in harmony as intended.
BY BUS: New Jersey Transit (NJ Transit) provides bus service to Westfield, NJ everyday of the week. Departure is out of Port Authority Bus Terminal (PABT) located at 8th Avenue and 42nd street on the west side of Manhattan. You can be purchase your tickets from the NJ Transit windows or there are machines in many locations throughout the station, but tickets must be purchased before boarding the bus.
Acupuncture & Chinese herbal medicine are on of the earliest practicing systems of medicine; they are both part of the complete and comprehensive system of Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture has emerged from over 2300 years of empirical study and observation of the dynamics of Qi or "Life Force." Acupuncture works by adjusting and regulating the Qi, which flows through your body's twelve major pathways or "meridians."
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine have been used for thousands of years to successfully address infertility by restoring optimal hormonal balance, increasing circulation through the reproductive organs, and creating an overall environment where new life may flourish. Difficulties in conceiving or maintaining a pregnancy can indicate a hormonal imbalance, metabolic imbalance and/ or poor circulation.
Andy Rosenfarb performed some tests and gave me herbs to take. He told me what I needed to do in as far as diet went. Also, I started seeing him for acupuncture treatment twice a week. I was surprised that the acupuncture did not hurt, and was actually very relaxing. I fell asleep almost every time.

I've been a client here with Andy and his team for many years. This practice is my first and only experience with Acupuncture, and I've never considered looking elsewhere for help. All the clinicians here are helpful, knowledgeable friendly, supportive and just plain great people. If you're new and never tried acupuncture before, they are a great fit.
