Karen Lin graduated from the Eastern School of Acupuncture in New Jersey. After excelling as a student, she subsequently became a faculty member teaching the clinical research class to third-year students. As an acupuncture practitioner, she helps people change their lifestyle and improve their overall health.
She established Harmony Acupuncture and Wellness, LLC, in Cranford, New Jersey, as her own clinic to treat people with various conditions. Long before working in this field, Karen earned her M.D. degree from Guangzhou Medical University in China in 1992 and worked as a physician in the affiliated hospital.

We met Dr. Lin first to have our daughter treated - she was suffering from an (un-diagnosed) eye disorder. While she was put through a battery of test at the ophthalmologist, Dr Lin's treatment provided immediate relief after the first sitting itself. We continued to see her weekly and the acupuncture treatment provided a great deal of pain relief, allowing our daughter to attend school.
Acupuncture has been practiced in China and other Asian countries for thousands of years. Based on the premise that there are patterns of energy (Qi) flowing through the body to different organs essential for health, acupuncture is a method of encouraging the energy to flow to promote natural healing and improve body function.

Karen is seriously amazing. I turned to acupuncture when I couldn't get answers or help anywhere else with my MS symptoms that included muscle spasm mainly in my face. After a couple of sessions my face went back to normal and I have no more spasms.

I was suffering from upper back, neck and shoulder pain and was desperate to find some relief from the constant pain. I never had acupuncture done before and was a bit nervous. Dr. Karen is the best of the best. She made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me before she did it. I now go twice a month and feel so much better. If you are looking for someone to trust and who genuinely cares for her patients I recommend you go to Dr. Karen.

Karen is the best acupuncturist I know! For someone who has struggled with migraines for five years, Karen has always been attentive, caring and understanding. She has helped me over the years with these intense headaches and I always leave her office feeling refreshed and energetic. I highly recommend Karen. She is wonderful at her job and a great friend who I feel blessed to know!

I went to another acupuncturist a week before I came here. My experience was exactly the opposite. It’s really not the process of acupuncture, but who is performing it. Cranford- in fact anyone living in central New Jersey should feel lucky that Harmony is driving distance from them.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experiences at Harmony Acupuncture & Wellness. I believe Dr. Lin personifies everything a patient could want in a health care provider. She is a very genuine and positive person who truly cares about her patients' and their best interests. Dr. Lin succeeded in helping me through a serious ailment when various other doctors failed. Karen Lin is everything you could ever want in a friend, caring human being, complete professional, and accupunturist. And, from the moment you walk in Leigh Anne is there to greet you with a calmness like no one I've ever known at reception. She's super friendly and funny, and makes you feel 100% comfortable (even if you're occasionally late!). Karen literally changed my life within two sessions when Surgeons and specialists could not help me after a year of testing! I've never been more comfortable, felt more cared about, or been more relaxed than when I'm in Karen's care. She is phenomenal.

With a broken fifth metatarsal bone in my left foot and after I had a cast removed, I had enormous pain and inflammation in my lower left leg and foot. I came to see Karen Du for acupuncture treatment and I felt much better with reduced pain and inflammation in even the first treatment. After the next 4 sessions, I was able to walk with crutch at ease then able to walk slowly without it. I couldn't agree more with most of her patients: she is a unique, talented and competent acupuncturist who can fix you up well. She is truly one of the best in her field.
