Services
Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, University Village Chiropractic emphasizes improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place. Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness, if they could. This is one of the main reasons for the big surge in the popularity of our wellness center.
We understand that arriving at a doctors office for the first time can be nerve racking. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces and names, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience. That's why at University Village Chiropractic our aim is to remove any stressor causing unnessesary tension and to make you feel comfortable.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem.
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Brian Miller or Dr. Sam Battaglia to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for the Doctors to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.

Background: Have had random bouts of lower back pain and tried some other chiros around the city. While I'm all about strengthening the area of pain, I never had instant relief until I came to University Village Chiro. It was always physical therapy without the actual manipulation of the spine. All my concerns were heard and the treatment here was fantastic and I felt great after my adjustment.

Can't speak highly enough of Dr. Miller and Dr. Battaglia. Went there some years back for upper back pain. At that time, I wasn't sure I even believed in chiropractors. My pain was greatly reduced immediately without drugs or surgery! Went back for neck/headache pain a few years later. I've seen both, and they are both excellent. Slightly different styles, but both handle you "confidently" - maybe that sounds a bit weird, but they clearly know what they are doing and they just do it. I'm not a massage guy, but I do leave their treatments with a natural high. It really

Both Doctors get a thumbs up from me. The office is modern and clean as they provide the best of treatments. I had a couple of cases of sciatica and they helped ease the pain and got me back to being active. If you have back, neck and almost any pain that hinders movement give UV Chiro a visit. You will not be sorry!!! BTW...they treat a number of professional sport players.

Good experience, but I feel it could be better. My first time at a chiropractor so I don't have experience, but I feel like I am not properly attended to. I am being thrown out the door too quickly. I don't have a problem scheduling an appointment, and he takes me right in. I chose this location cause it was in between work and home and it was really convenient. 9 out of 10 x I find parking in front, and the minute I walk into the door, he is right there ready for me. Great personality and smells so divine.

I had done some research online for a great chiropractor with awesome reviews that was close to work or home. Not only is University Village Chiropractic close to work, but this place is absolutely wonderful! I wanted to make sure to let the Yelp world know that it's important to entrust your spinal health to UVC if needed. I work in an office in front of a computer all day, so the strain and stress from sitting all day was really putting stress on my neck and shoulders.
I'm still going in for my adjustments and working out the tension, but I love how I feel afterwards!!! Thanks, Dr

I've been a patient of UVChiro for over 5yrs. Both Dr. Battaglia and Dr. Miller were the first Chiropractors who were able to help my aches and pains. I'm a dancer and at no point was I ever told to stop what I love. The Dr.'s are very knowledgeable and approachable, the front desk woman, Theresa, is very friendly and helpful. You know you are going to be taken care of as soon as you walk in. I'm not only a patient, but because I believe in these Dr.'s and the office as a whole I have become their FT Massage Therapist! I hope you come in and get some relief, just as I

Since becoming a patient of Dr. Sam a few years ago, the chronic lower back pain that I've had most of my life has almost completely disappeared. He has a very calm style that really helps you feel relaxed. Occasionally, I'm lucky enough to have a therapeutic massage as part of the treatment. Molly, the massage therapist does a great job of making you feel comfortable while at the same time relieving all the tension in your muscles! The office is very bright and clean with parking right next door.

I recently went to see Dr. Battaglia. When you walk in, his receptionist Raquel is the sweetest thing. She is very personable and quite funny. The office is very clean and they have a flat screen tv for your entertainment while you are waiting.
Dr. Battaglia is a great doctor. He is so calm in his demeanor and I feel like he is really listening to my concerns.
There is street parking and quite a few restaurants in the area to grab a bite after an awesome adjustment by Dr. Battaglia.
