Services
I am an attorney with over 30 years of experience and have expertise handling difficult and contentious cases. I represent beneficiaries, elders, and relatives or friends of elders, trustees, executors, agents under durable powers of attorney, conservators, and private professional fiduciaries. I do a thorough and well thought-out analysis of every case I work on.
What is Trust and Estate Litigation? Trust and Estate Litigation is a legal challenge that occurs when disputes arise over the validity or execution of a trust or estate planning document. When there are disagreements between beneficiaries of a trust or estate and the trustee or executor of the trust or estate, it often results in a Trust and Estate Litigation case.
A typical estate plan I prepare consists of: (1) a Revocable Living Trust; (2) a Pour-Over Will; (3) a Durable Power of Attorney for Assets; and (4) an Advanced Healthcare Directive (a combined power of attorney for healthcare, a living will and a HIPAA release). A Nomination of Guardians is also included if the client has minor children.
Michael LaMay offers himself as a trusted and credible legal professional. Operating with efficiency and consideration to all details, Michael gives his clients peace of mind. Working through our Estate Planning was a dreaded task, but Michael made it simple, straight-forward, and enjoyable. We truly appreciate his help and would highly recommend him to our family and friends.

I had an unfortunate experience with my brother in regards to him taking complete financial advantage of my demented father before he passed. I’ve heard of these horrendous experiences but never thought I would have to endure something so painful.
Prior to finding Mr. LaMay, I hired an attorney that my sister recommended. He ended up being a waste of my time and a lot of money. I found Michael LaMay through a professional that highly recommended him. Michael was not only very well informed and very experienced with this kind of situation, but he was also very reassuring and compassionate. He

I've retained Michael LaMay for various services related to conservatorship of our special needs son, a living trust as well as for trust ligitation. I can't say enough about how professional and thorough Mr. LaMay was in each case. I would give him the strongest of recommendations as an attorney. In my opinion if you ever need these kinds of services, Mr. LaMay would be the attorney to retain.

I found Michael after having a very negative experience with an inept attorney that was referred to me by a friend. Michael took on the difficult task of a financial elder abuse case of my late father. My sibling embezzled great amounts of money, opened fraudulent credit card accounts in my father's name, and altered his prior trust that was to be split leaving half to me, and half to my brother, to a trust that was left solely to my brother. Michael is very professional, extremely knowledgeable, very responsive, and trustworthy. Michael put me at ease and took total control of an appalling
