Services
Cristina B. Georgescu, DDS and Eileen Dano Calamia, DDS will provide a thorough examination following a routine cleaning appointment. The doctor will strive to bond with your child to achieve a lasting relationship with him or her. The exam will include exploration of the child's mouth and gums and a discussion regarding at-home dental hygiene.
I understand that providing incorrect information can be dangerous to my child's health. It is my responsibility to inform the dental office of any changes in my child's medical status. I also authorize Dr. Georgescu and Dr. Calamia to perform necessary dental procedures including, but not limited to, the use of nitrous oxide, local anesthesia and take any necessary radiographs to diagnose and/or treat my child's dental needs.
Regular dental exams for children are a critical part of preventive health care. During a dental exam, the dentist or hygienist will clean your child's teeth and evaluate your child's risk of tooth decay. The exam might include applying a sealant or fluoride to reduce the risk of decay. A dental exam for children more.
Ask your pediatric dentist to evaluate the fluoride levels in your child's drinking water. If the child is not receiving adequate amounts of fluoride, your dentist may recommend supplemental fluoride. Smile Starters Pediatric Dentistry does not have fluoridated water. Amazing experience! Friendly staff and clean environment. The hygienist was clear and offerings suggestions and was walking us through each step. Kids haven’t been to the dentist for a while due to COVID, this visit made the transition back to dental visits super comfortable. Can’t wait until our next visit. Thanks for being so awesome! TV’s on the ceiling, great distraction for squirming children.

I was looking for a kid friendly and bright dental office and this one definitely hit all points for me! My 3 year old went in for his first ever check up and left happy and not terrified. He is also looking forward to his next check up in 6 months! Everyone from the front desk to hygienist, and doctor was pleasant and in an upbeat mood. This is how it should be! So glad i found them!
