Joann provides our Deaf and Hard of Hearing patients the comfort of being treated by a hygienist that has taken courses in ASL as well as studying the difficulties faced by Deaf and Hard of Hearing patients in the typical dental office.Children respond immediately to both Dona and Joann, which is a very good thing since they each have four of their own.

Our capable dental assistants make sure everything runs smoothly during your visit. They assist Dr. Magid, DDS, FICD and Dr. Magid-Katz, DMD in providing each of our patients with remarkable care before, during and after your visit. Your comfort is their priority. Tara is Dr. Sabrina Magid's primary chairside and also our assistant specializing in assisting Dr. Laurie Fleisher in endodontics (root therapy).

I had the most amazing, reassuring experience at Advanced Dentistry of Westchester with Dr. Magid-Katz and Josephine. Dr. Magid-Katz is a caring person who will explain what she is doing at every step. Your treatment is discussed with you and different options are given. During my procedures, they both checked in frequently to ask if I was feeling any pain (never did except for a mild twinge which they instantly responded to). I could see how responsive and attentive they were and this made me feel completely at ease - not easy for someone whose prior dentist had been a family member and who was

I recently became involved in this practice. I had a cruddy dentist that was free on my insurance. When he wanted to chop my tooth off and put a crown on my front incisor which was barely damaged, I decided that using a dentist that I paid for was worth it. The people at this office are lovely, and kind, and it is a happy place. My front tooth was rescued by mere bonding and I’ve since used them to update my Invisalign retainers. I know it sounds weird to say that I have enjoyed going there, but I did.

Thorough yet sensitive to patients with nerves. This practice has taken my stress level at the dentist from a 10 to as low as it can go. I give them a lot of credit. My teeth and mouth have never been so healthy or well cared for. Their practice for children is also amazing - my daughter looks forward to going to the dentist.

I have nothing but great things to say about the entire staff at Advanced Dentistry. It is very clear, that they are a fine group of professionals who are very educated in their field. I have never NOT felt welcome and at ease when stepping into this office. A big plus for cleanliness and organization as well. I have been seeing Dr. Magid and his terrific crew for over 20 years. Now my kids are patients. He has done a wide variety of simple and complex dental miracles in my mouth and he has always been gentle, kind, fair and quick. His procedures are as near painless as any you'd ever find.
Once when traveling in Europe, I found myself with a bad toothache. I called him and he was terribly concerned about my flying home with out taking antibiotics first.
