If an employee is having a tough time, they will know where to turn and the chaplain will be ready. This is an important distinction from traditional EAP (Employee Assistance Programs) that only intervene if a crisis is imminent. The Chaplain's role is not to teach religion or evangelize. However, if an employee wants to approach a problem from a religious perspective, the Chaplain may offer guidance.
