Literally the worst manicure experience of my life. It took them 3 hours for a simple dip. They took off and put on the polish 3 different times. My nails and cuticles still hurt from the aggressive grinding off. And it's chipping by the end of the day. Overpriced on top of all of that. Horrible experience. Do not recommend.

This is one of the worst salons I have been in to. The owner is rude and very very difficult to deal. I have given it many chances and I have come many times because it's convenient but it always disappoints. I usually don't write negative reviews but this one deserves one. Their colors are old and dont last, their massages are terrible. The owner wears her mask under her nose endangering her clients. I have taken my daughter here who is 10. Not only do they charge the same as an adult but spend half the time doing the manicure and pedicure. Drive the extra mile or half a mile to go

I have been a long time customer and love this place! Van does an excellent job on my powder dip nails--if I'm having trouble picking from one of their large selections of colors she always has suggestions that will look good with my skin tone. I feel truly pampered after having my nails done.
I also enjoy the pedicures--especially with the hot stone massage. A luxurious experience and not be missed.
They take covid seriously and I appreciate that.
To be honest, the price doesn't bother me. They take their time and I never feel it is a rushed job. I am paying to be pampered

I began using Capri Nail Salon when it reopened (briefly) during the pandemic in 2021. I was immediately struck by their high level of caution and respect for safety for clients and employees. I have been enjoying regular manis and pedis. Vann always does my nails, and does a beautiful job. Maya, the receptionist, is lovely and very helpful. I recommend them 100%.

They charge more than everyone else in the Area. Since a trip to the nail salon costs almost a $100 I have started speaking up when unhappy. The first manicurist applied uneven layers of shellac with loads of airbubbles. I demanded someone ekse.This lazy stupid lady went to town scraping the shellac off of my nails for what felt like forever. 2 weeks later all my nails are breaking.

I love this place. They do a great job at pedicures and brow waxes. Those are the only services I get. My only complaint is they are a cash only business. They have an ATM machine there, but I know they earn money from it and it charges $3. I don't like being nickel and dimed, so it annoys me. So I get cash somewhere else instead (when I remember).

I was so happy when Capri Nail Spa reopened after having been closed due to Covid-19 restrictions. The spa itself has always been spotless and now have implemented all the requirements of Santa Clara County to reopen. I have been a customer at Capri Nail Spa in Mountain View for approximately 5 years. This review is late in coming but I want to say that I have extremely happy coming here since I started. For many reasons, this is my go-to place when I want to have a manicure and pedicure, or waxing/eyebrow tinting. . The facilities are spotless and the environment is very relaxing and soothing

The only reason I stopped here was because it's close to my workplace. I had quite a disappointing experience. The lady at the front desk was perfectly polite but I found the other staff quite unprofessional. Multiple times I noticed that when my nail technician asked me something and I responded, he and the other technicians would start talking in another language and laugh. This also happened almost every time another client said something. Maybe just a coincidence, but definitely didn't make a good experience.
My pedicure itself was just okay, it got the job done but

Clean and bright environment, quiet and soothing. Had my first acrylic manicure done here tonight.
Van was amazing in explaining the differences between traditional and dip powder acrylic nails, and the process and why. I love learning about something new, so all of my questions were answered!
Very lovely and personable!
Everyone had a smile on their face, not just a customer service smile, but a genuine smile.

This salon is near my office so I decided to try out one evening before I had to head to an event. The staff was not very friendly. The woman who did my nails barely spoke to me. Another staff member came by and tried to up-sell me on other services, namely eyelash extensions. I told her I'm very happy with the person I go to, and she still tried to convince me to come here. I had to say no several times, and did not appreciate the hard sell.

They are always so well organized and clean when I come in. This last time, they not only gave me a great pedicure, but they held onto the pair of shoes I left behind for two weeks! I had been frantically searching for my shoes for a couple of days when it occurred to me that maybe I left them at Capri. When I realized I could have, i was certain they'd be gone (donated) by the time I got there. Nope. They had them behind the desk waiting for me! Thank you!!

Got a powder dip manicure and it looked good although they 1) cut one of my thumbs doing it and 2) dip your fingers directly in the powder jar which is warned to be unsanitary. They also made accidental cuts in two of my friends that went with me.
They next day, one of my nails came completely off. I went in and the fixed it right away for free, which was nice. However, the next day THREE MORE nails fell off. Not sure why-- I wasn't doing anything crazy. Didn't want to make the time to go back to fix.

I went to Capri Nail Spa once before about three weeks ago to very satisfactory results for my first time experimenting with Dip Tip Nails. As it was my first time, I mistakenly went too light (you could see the added tip), so I was not able to achieve the look I was going for. So, this was my mistake and did not think much of it.
However, this time I did have a different nail tech and was disappointed with the results. After about 3 hours (nails were done at 6pm) the nails started to get dents in the polish. It was a different process than the original manicure. Just a clear dip with polish

The only complaint that I have about Capri is the price point. However, it is in the Silicon Valley, and most nail places around here are at the same price point.
I came in after going to another nail salon that didn't want to take off my acrylics. I came in at around 3pm and asked if they could take off my acrylics and do dip powder instead. I LOVE the receptionist at Capri-- she is so sweet and helpful. They had time for

Overall, it was a decent manicure. I went in for a regular manicure. They were able to take me right away. I will admit that the staff was a lot more welcoming and friendly than most Nail salons I've been to. Other than that though, everything was just ok/average. My main complaint is that a simple manicure was $17. I could get the same job done for $10-$12 at most Nail places. Then I wanted to use my card to pay, but they only took card for transactions over $25, which meant I needed to use their ATM which charged me an extra $1 fee.
