Clean, professional, and caring. The front desk is attentive and friendly. There are typically 2 staff members at the front desk, so you are quickly welcomed and seated for your appointment. Alec frequently checks in on the patients in the lobby while offering a bottle of water.
The facility is very clean and well kept. My initial cleaning was a very pleasant experience. Some of the nicest staff I've ever come across.
I ended up needing some additional work. Alec put an enormous amount of effort to clearly weigh out my options to proceed. He showed me what my insurance

I have been coming to Cal Dental since I've moved to Koreatown and I am extremely happy with their services. They are great with appointment reminders and their staff is very attentive and helpful. Vanessa helped me get an immediate appointment and was very helpful and responsive to all my questions. Sunny is also a great hygienist and is very friendly. I truly appreciate the hospitality at this office and the cleanliness as well.

I'm actually sad to be giving this review - I really disliked my previous dental practice, so I had high hopes for Cal Dental. My first visit was great- everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I paid in full for a pretty significant treatment on that was going to take a few months to complete.

Dr. Angela and her assistant were super helpful and attentive! I would definitely recommend coming here and asking for them. Super nice and professional and are always willing to address any questions or concerns I might have. Don't waste your time and money here. The doctor will upsell you for procedures you don't even need. I'm well aware of what my insurance covers and somehow they expected me to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket while having PPO insurance which they "cover"

I've been coming to Cal Dental Group for many years now. I was very sad when I found out Dr. Kim had retired but I have been very impressed and happy with Dr. Karnakova these past couple of years. She is very thorough, diligent, and happy to answer all my questions.
The entire staff is very welcoming and happy to help as well. I always appreciate that they provide estimates and work with you to find a plan that will work with your needs.

A great Dentistry office with great staff. After moving to the area a couple months ago I was in pain from my wisdom teeth. I received an overpriced quote from a different office and was then referred by a friend to go to Cal Dental Group for all of my dentist/oral surgeon needs. They were able to get me in within the week and offered a much more reasonable pricing for wisdom teeth removal and scheduled an appointment.
All of the staff has great bedside manner, and will work with you if you're on a budget. I greatly appreciate this office for helping me in a time of need and am glad a friend

I met with Olga and Alec for consultation and they were kind, empathetic and also understood my financial circumstances due to the ongoing pandemic and being uninsured. The staff was all so friendly. I had 4 impacted wisdom and I was prescribed antibiotic and painkillers. They scheduled my surgery and Alec really worked with me to make sure I can fit this into my budget so I can get the care I needed. Amazing service.

I have been coming to Cal dental group for a few years now they have done an enormous amount of work on my teeth . Extractions, crowns, bridge, whitening an implant you naaaame it!!! and my cleaning every six months. I love their cleanliness. Staff have good hygiene as well. . Spacious waiting room with comfortable chairs and plenty of sanitizer! My favorite part is their staff they make me feel at home when I'm there thanks guys oh and I love the courtesy appointment cards and text messages!

I, like many other reviewers, was originally a patient of Dr. Kim's. When the new dentist took over, she began running this place like a business, not a dentists office. I originally came in for a cleaning but after they took my X-rays Dr. Olga came in and told me I had periodontal disease and needed to schedule another appt to get a deep cleaning which would cost like $500, in addition to trying to sell me a $475 night guard that I repeatedly told them I was not interested in.

I went with pain in one tooth, and they told me I needed 2 root canals and 2 cavities to be filled. Everyone was incredibly nice and did their best to explain everything to me. I really trusted them. I got the root canals done and paid the same day, but shortly after I received a letter from my insurance letting me know I'd been overcharged. I asked Cal Dental Group for a refund and cited the insurance statements as proof, and had to call once and email them 3 times, with a threat to take it to the insurance the last time before they responded to me.
