Dr. Rudy S. Mendoza has been providing quality dental care in Long Beach, CA for more than 20 years. He received his Bachelors of Science from Loyola Marymount University and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at University of California, San Francisco. He is a member of the American Dental Association and an active member of Medaire since 2004 providing dental treatment for international patients.

I had called last week during business hours and nobody answered. I called again the next day and left a voicemail asking for a call back...that was 4 days ago. I finally spoke to someone today who was kind of rude and not very nice. Her tone of voice gives me the vibe that she's over her job. The next available appointment was 5 weeks out. When I explained to her that I do not have an ID because my employer did not provide one she was silent for a couple of seconds (maybe she was frustrated?) and asked for my employer name and my SSN. I made an appointment but I'm probably going to cancel

I have been seeing Dr. Mendoza for over a year now. Everything from my general cleaning to my aligners has been been a breeze. Dare I say relaxing! The entire staff is incredibly inviting and on top of their game. April is a gem and will take excellent care of you. Since I started with Dr. Rudy I have straighter, whiter and brighter teeth! Dr Mendoza and his staff are professional, knowledgeable and thorough. They were so accommodating during a recent dental emergency, went to great lengths to get me in quickly and I'm forever grateful that something I've dreaded would be an ordeal was made so easy and seamless. Check up and cleanings are always thorough, which I love. The office is calm and lovely, parking is a plus. The doctor himself is wonderful- friendly, knowledgeable and does wonderful work.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mendoza's for a couple of years now. Let me fill you in on my dental history. I had not been to a dentist since probably kindergarten or 1st grade. My single parent household did not have much money as I was growing up, so we would only go to the doctor for emergencies. And once I became a working adult, I never had health insurance at any of my jobs. When I finally obtained a job with benefits, I still put off visiting the dentist because I was afraid of the out of pocket costs. Rudy is amazing and so very friendly and communicative. Sadly his front of the office staff are literally the worst I've ever experienced so I will never be returning. Good luck to anyone trying to schedule an appointment, get a call back, or get any sort of direct professional communication as this place is absurd.

One thing I always make sure is that I have a good dentist because I like to keep my teeth in good condition! I've been a patient of Dr. Mendoza's for a little over 6 years. I came across this dental office because of the proximity to one of my previous residences. I enjoy the hassle free scheduling-lately they've began implementing more texts and online profiles to make/reschedule appointments which is great for the busy person!

Nasty impacted wisdom tooth, turned into dry socket. Doc saw me a number of times on short notice (24 hours or less), saw me once when the office was closed, checked in with me after each procedure, referred me out next day to specialists. And he's a riot to talk to.

From my entire life, this is the best dentist I've seen. Dr. Mendoza is extremely cordial, nice, funny, and professional. This was my follow up appointment today and I was seen by his hygenist (forgot her name she wears glasses) and she was super sweet. While she was cleaning my teeth she kept asking if everything is okay and made the experience less painful as she could.
The office itself is SUPER ZEN! I love the Japanese garden view and the water fountains in the front. The seats are also so comfy I could have fallen asleep. It definitely helps if you have anxiety about visiting the dentist

I have been a patient of Dr. Mendoza and team for many years. First thing I'd say is Doc has made going to the dentist something I used to dread to something I feel good about. For dental problems small and large, Doc shoots straight, doesn't "oversell" you, and the work he does is first class.....if something is not just right, he takes care to make it so. Doc and team make you feel like family. I have recommended many friends over the years, and they have all been pleased!

Hero 3 hr+ drive and worth it. Sillks so much so all work is done fast and thuraly and leave mouth in better and more attractive the you where born with artists like perssion and experience. Basically you will never fine a better dr. Or Dr. Office+ spends extra amounts of time on my poorly ageing mother. Over and above the call of duty. I guess that wat passion is... Dr. Mendoza is amazing. His entire staff makes you feel at home, and he truly cares about his patients. He has seen me after hours last minute when I was freaking myself out over a possible infection. He made sure I had all my questions answered, and was always there for any other inquiries I had! His office worked with me financially and allowed me to break the work I needed up so I could afford it. I felt NO PAIN at all when getting my work done. 100% would recommend! Have another appointment next month, and don't even have the "white coat syndrome" like I used to.

I'm a satisfied client of 7 years! Thanks to 1-800-Dentist, they connected me with only The BEST Dentist in Long Beach! Dr. Mendoza is incredibly experienced, uses the newest technology, and really looks out for the best interest of his clients. He keeps an eye on my old fillings, will be proactive when he anticipates a problem, but won't proceed with anything unnecessary. I love his sense of humor, too! He's like the cool uncle you wanna sit by the bar with & share adventure stories! Lol :D

April at the front office for Dr. Mendoza was the most abrasive and unprofessional individual I've ever encountered in a medical/ dental environment. I tried to make an appointment over the phone and she was beyond rude because the office was busy taking care of "other patients". Great way to run a business.
