Kidz Korner - to provide the opportunities for children to build self-esteem, self-confidence, and positive relationships. Our program is designed to provide the opportunities for children to build self-esteem, self-confidence, and positive relationships. Our approach to teaching can be described as a sharing of knowledge between child and an adult, in a hands-on, child-directed atmosphere.

Kidz Korner provides a high quality early childhood program where the children are active learners in both a structured and unstructured setting. The teachers develop learning experiences and ask questions that encourage children to think and problem solve. They nurture and develop the social, emotional, physical and intellectual stages of each child.
Services
We are a locally owned and operated childcare facility that offers exceptional care for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K. Our clean facility has much to offer including a security system, two outdoor fenced in play yards, an indoor gross motor room, monthly enrichment programs, and an on-site library.
Here at Kidz Korner, we have a unique partnership and we are very dedicated in providing a kind, nurturing and learning environment. We have a close relationship with our families and many children stay in our program from infancy through school age. We very much value the relationships that we have with our children, staff and families.
We work hard to provide a safe and fun environment for children within the Guilderland School District. We provide After School care for children ages 5 through 12. Our program typically runs from 2pm to 6pm but we also provide full day care when Guilderland Schools are closed. While at the After School the children will be provided snack upon arrival and given the opportunity to do homework if they choose.
Kidz Korner Summer Camp help your child develop character, foster teamwork, make new friends, and discover new interests. We provide unique experiences that build self-confidence and promote self-esteem. If you have any questions or interest in visiting a center in your area please contact Courtney at cbigness@kidzkornerchildcare.com or (518) 688-0450.
We have been with Kidz Korner since our daughter was 9 months old. The staff is very dedicated to making sure that we always feel welcomed and provide a positive environment. We will be sad leaving after Pre-K. We have gotten to know a lot of the teachers over the years. I just wanted to send a sincere thank you to you and the wonderful woman who gave us the tour yesterday, Alyssa.

DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE. I used to work in the plaza up until the beginning of this year and the stuff I saw and heard there was deplorable. It is completely understaffed and the few employees they do have are grossly undertrained. A complaint was filed against them in June of 2020 through OCFS for violating the following; The child day care center must employ staff who will promote the physical, intellectual, social, cultural and emotional well-being of the children. It terrifies me to think there are unfit people in there taking care of children. Whenever I would walk by on my way to the

Love Kidz Korner. As a former employee and an aunt of a current toddler I have nothing but great things to say. I left for my own personal reasons. If life had not thrown me the current opportunity than I would still be there as an employee. Janice, the director, is very professional and manages all the current situations with ease. They try hard to meet all the needs of staff and families Without questions asked. Would recommend anytime.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality
Look them up on OCFS website for complaints and you will see September 2020 citation for corporal punishment and having unstable staff. This place and all its centers should be shut down! The owner and the director here are rude and lie.

My kids are always happy when they get to Kidz Korner in the morning. They are treated well, do lots of fun activities, and have greatly advanced their social skills and intellect. Highly recommend!

Understaffed and poorly run. You are better off having an in home caregiver that will give your kids attention and proper care. Teachers are not nice and it shows. Food is terrible. Place is not clean. Look at other website reviews and you will see the poor ratings!

My son was at Kidz Korner for over 3 yrs and we were beyond satisfied with the staff and the director. Each and everyone there was a support to my child moving forward into Kindergarten. I can not recommend this location enough.

My wife and I absolutely love Kidz Korner! The teachers are warm and caring, the curriculum is varied, and the facilities (classrooms and play areas) are fun and engaging. Our son asks to go to school on the weekend he loves it so much. We also appreciate the family centered events/parties, well written newsletters, student progress reports, and activities. For Thanksgiving, the entire center hosts a family style Thanksgiving dinner for all family members to attend, not to mention the food was delicious and the day was amazing; a very special memory I will always have.

The program is "money oriented". it is more focused on money making clauses then welcoming parents.. my son went to their 3 year old class. they took a deposit of 465 dollars. i was told that with two weeks notice i will be given my deposit back,. instead even with a two weeks notice they kept the deposit saying that only if he would return to kids corner after summer and then leave would i be given the deposit back. some fine print that was not even in their contract packet but was added to the form we were made to sign before taking the summer off... they set up situations where a parent has
