We are Tom and Susan Schaeuble, owners of Caring Hearts Home Care. Caring Hearts Home Care is a local, family owned company dedicated to providing compassionate and professional in-home care services to individuals in Des Moines and surrounding communities. We were born and raised in Iowa and have lived in the Des Moines area since 1998.
Do you or a loved one need a little help with household chores or just need someone to talk with? Caring Hearts Home Care provides home care services that help keep clients to stay safe, comfortable and independent at home. We believe that the health and happiness of our clients are enhanced by social contacts.
Caring Hearts Home Care is dedicated to providing professional in-home care that improves quality of life and promotes the physical, mental and emotional well-being of your loved one. We protect independece and preseve the dignity of your loved one, while providing you with peace of mind. Our trained and experienced caregivers provide a variety of hands-on services including assistance with activities of daily living.
Caregivers at Caring Hearts Home Care have ongoing training for specialty care clients who have impaired cognitive function, like Alzheimer's and dementia. We can be there to give the primary caregiver a break or for rehab after a hospitalization. Our specialized care services can also include coordinating with hospice to meet the needs and wishes of our clients.

Rewarding job with flexible scheduling and an involved management team. Owners are involved with client care and know caregivers personally. They take pride in their company, and treat their clients and caregivers with dignity and respect. I have always felt valued and appreciated as an employee, and have truly enjoyed my time working for Caring Hearts Home Care. I would recommend working here to anyone with a passion for providing care!

I have really enjoyed my time working for Caring Hearts and am immensely grateful for the experience it has given me and all the wonderful clients I’ve felt so honored to work for. Caring Hearts Home Care is a wonderful place to work not only because of the quality of care they ensure to show all clients, but also their willingness to work with staff as well. There are so many instances I felt truly grateful to have Susan, Tom, and Michelle as bosses. There were times in the winter when they were willing to pick me up and drive me to my clients house just because I didn’t feel comfortable driving
