A native of Rochester Hills, Michigan, Dr. Ryan P. Malone graduated from the University of Detroit Jesuit High School before following his family down to the Houston area. He received his bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. He then went on to graduate with honors from the University of Houston College of Optometry after completing a nine-month externship at the Santa Fe Indian Hospital.
We are dedicated to providing the highest level of service so you can have the vision you deserve. We truly believe in routine eye examinations so that you can see as clearly as possible. Once you have to get glasses or contacts, it is even more important to watch the health of your eyes. You also need routine checks to ensure your prescription has not changed.
We all love our technology, but what you don't know is that the high concentration of artificial light from your electronics such as iPads, iPhones, etc. can harm your helath and your eyes. Newer electronics emit harmful blue light, which is compounded by the close distance we hold our screens to our eyes.

Just picked up my glasses & I am in love with them. From the receptionist, to the dr who answered all my questions and gave me a great explanation….to the wonderful lady that helped me pick out glasses, they gave me a great experience. This place deserves more than 5 stars. I was in & out in no time. I normally go to tso but bc I couldn’t get in & decided on a whim to change & see how it goes. & I am so thankful I gave them a shot. I will continue to come back here & highly recommend anyone to do the same. They were all very professional & I was very pleased to see COVID precautions taken!

The Optometrists are awesome, the front office staff is subpar, they do not understand customer service or have much knowledge in the products they offer or insurance information. I did the eye exam and was told an incorrect answer for ordering lenses only. Plus where do businesses get the right to lock the doors and then lock when you enter without providing safety protocols for emergency evacuations...is this just ignorance due to Covid19 or am I not getting the full picture?

My experience at Vericare vision in Katy was not good. I purchased the retinoscopy but results were never discussed with me by Dr. Li. Also I could not find frames in my budget ($300 or less) that fit my bridge of 17 to 18. The young lady helping me was not very knowledgeable so I decided to go elsewhere. I asked for my vision prescription and was told Dr. Li went to lunch and he did not sign it. So I could not have it. Urgh! I work nights and took a day off from sleeping to drive 25 miles to get my exam and order frames. Not even an apology.

No one likes to have to find a new eye doctor, dentist, etc when they move to a new area. My fiancé actually came across Vericare Vision and made an appointment. We came in together on a Saturday for his eye exam for glasses. The entire experience was so great, I made an appointment for myself the following Saturday!

Never ever buy any frame or lenses from this place. Diane, the manager or I don't even know what her position is. She is incapable of solving or dealing with insurance claims. Zero knowledge. She wasted my benefits and I can't get them back on the system after cancelling an order thru her. They are charging a frame $505 which you can find it $250. It's ridiculous and rip off. Alain Mikli prices even are not that level. She is killing the owner's reputations.

Came here due to how close they are to where i live and have to say that i was pretty pleased with their level of customer service and quality glasses.
When i got the first pair of glasses, the lenses were a bit scratched, but they made things right and everything worked out.
Would recommend to a friend of family member. Thanks!!

The workers there were very friendly and kind. I was there to get my contact lenses, and they were understanding and didn't rush me while I was trying to put it on. Dr. Li acted very professional while making you feel comfortable and made things quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. Great place with very knowledgable people.

Dr Li and his staffs provides great customer service and I am very impressed with their state of the art equipments. They have a broad selections of eye glasses and offer very reasonable prices for the frames. The best part is that they customized and made the glasses in the store! No more waiting for a week for eyeglasses, I get to pick up my glasses 30 minutes after my eye exam, how cool is that!
