Cortney was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and moved to Sarasota in 2006. She has been in the dental field for over 10 years. Cortney's true passion is helping patients that feel anxiety or fear. No matter how high the anxiety may be, Cortney will do her best to make you feel right at home here at Dr. Konecny's office.
Konecny Dental offers a wide range of dental services in Sarasota, Florida and the surrounding areas. Below you'll find a list of services we offer. Composite fillings are made of a tooth-colored, plastic and glass mixture. They are used to restore decayed teeth and for cosmetic improvements of the smile by changing the color or reshaping disfigured teeth.
I believe that a healthy smile is a pleasure everyone should be able to enjoy. That's why I'll work hard to make sure you get the best care you need. I'll work around your busy schedule and make sure you're seen right away when you come in. And of course, you'll always be treated with a professional and gentle touch.
Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. Oral hygiene instructions will be provided along with suggestions to help you care for your teeth. In most cases, we will also clean your teeth on this visit and provide an evaluation that will outline your existing dental problems and proposed treatment.

Had a massive dental undertaking, and was not looking forward to ANY part of it. The Dr. and staff at the office are the best! Took the time to explain what would happen in detail prior, what is happening during the procedure, and even looked in on me during my aftercare at home.

I have been to so many different dentists over the decades having moved from country to country and State to State. I have never felt as comfortable, welcome and at ease as I do at Dr. Konecny's practice. The experience and knowledge he and his staff possess is nothing short of amazing. I am never nervous going there and I've never once felt like Dr. Konecny doesn't have my best interest in mind at all times. I couldn't be happier!

Got a last minute dental appointment at Konecny Dentistry. The office was able to get me in as soon as possible which made my life so much easier. Jill the hygienist cleaned my teeth to perfection and was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience extremely pleasant. After my cleaning Dr. Konecny looked at my teeth and fixed any imperfections he saw immediately and was very informative for how I can better care for my oral health in the future. Highly recommend Konecny Dentistry! I will be going back for all future dental work and will recommend to all my friends and family.

I couldn’t ask for a better experience! I was able to say hi to all three of the ladies on staff and they made me feel right at home! Dr. Konecny was no different. He’s very personable and laid back, yet professional. I don’t really have any dental issues, but was overdue for an exam. I had driven by their office several times recently and knew it was meant to be. Plus, it was so refreshing to go into a medical office that didn’t have that typical sterile feel about it.

Great experience from start to finish! Monica at the front desk is so friendly and welcoming, Jill did the most thorough cleaning and made me relaxed and comfortable the entire time and Dr. Konecny is so wonderful at taking the time, explaining everything and making the whole process so easy to understand.
