HANDS Of St Lucie County, A Volunteers In Medicine Clinic

In 2006, a small group of visionaries from within the medical community, the St. Lucie County Health Department and local social service agencies began advocating for the creation of an indigent healthcare facility in St. Lucie county. HANDS of St. Lucie County is a registered 501(c)3, non-profit organization dedicated to serving the medical and dental needs of the growing uninsured population.

HANDS of St. Lucie County is an affiliate of the nationally recognized Volunteers in Medicine organization and observes a "Culture of Caring" philosophy that recognizes the strength of those in need and is respectful of their dignity. The Hands Clinic is the only free and charitable clinic in St. Lucie County.
