Dave started supporting computers back in the days the TRS-80 and an Apple II back in elementary school. He first started with professional support as computer lab manager at Johnson County Community College.
While taking a year off to attend KU Law School, the pull of the computing industry was too strong and Dave returned to the field to be the Director of Academic Computing for Kansas City Art Institute, assisting them with an implementation of a two million dollar technology grant.

Our recycling service is free and we work with Connecting for Good to help repurpose your items to help bridge the digital. Losing data just stinks. Matt was on time, fixed the problem, explained what he had done, asked questions about my use of the computer, and treated me respectfully even though I know so little about computers. Our computer was getting old and giving us a lot of trouble. Dr. Dave helped us purchase a new computer directly from Dell which saved us quite a bit of money.
We do our computer repair "mouse calls" in Lawrence, Topeka and the Kansas City Metro area. This includes smaller cities like Baldwin City, Basehor and Eudora. There is a small trip charge to go on-site. That charge is usually $10.00. Since appointments are scheduled, our hours vary. We work to accommodate our clients.

We're also big proponents of online backups for college students, so don't be shocked if we bug you about that. For many older clients, the computer is the gateway to the outside world.

I called Dave and left a message which was promptly returned. My MacBook Air suddenly was totally unresponsive - blank screen, no sound. I described it to Dave and he said he would send a link with instructions I could try, and it worked! I was so thankful for his help; he could easily have charged me for a service call; I highly recommend him and will use him for any issues in the future.
