Dave and his team have always done an outstanding job working to resolve all the needs to keep my boats afloat. I've been using Lieb Marine for around 15 yrs now and they've always provided a very honest and up front approach to educate me on where the issues lie and what is needed to resolve the problem. And they've always given very fair pricing to fix or maintain our boats compared to other boat service companies. I would highly recommend Lieb Marine for anyone that needs engine or out drive maintenance and service, or full on rebuild or replacement.

Awesome, knowledgeable and fair. Dave and his team really are so good! They know their stuff and really are fair on their recommendations. They don't recommend unnecessary repairs. I had a phantom issue a few years back and no one could figure it out but he did in under 2 hours. They should be you go-to shop!

Frankly I am surprised by some of the negative reviews for Lieb Marine. Dave was professional, knowledgeable, and reasonable ($) with the work he did on our boat. I would not hesitate to use him again. In fact he will be winterizing our boat for us and doing a bit more work next spring. He called us back when we had questions and met us with a trailer to take our boat to his shop in Ballard. We had some outdrive work, bottom wash as well as a detail for the hull and deck of our boat. The boat came back looking like new. Definitely recommend Lieb Marine.

I have been a customer of Lien Marine for 14 years. Dave does expert work from quick annual service to major repowers, electrical, electronics, or anything you need. Dave is fair and reasonable. I often guess the bill. He stands behind his quality work. I cannot explain how good these guys are. Really.

I have a 39ft searay express which I have owned for 22 years. Dave at Lieb marine has been the only yard that has serviced my boat. I recently had Dave replace both engines and the generator. The only reason they needed to be replaced was they were worn out. The original engines ( 454s) had 4200 hours. I was able to get those kinds of hours because Dave did an excellent job every year. The re power went smoothly. We had a couple of small issues but Dave took care of them. Lieb marine has always treated me fairly and honestly. Warranty issues were never an issue and he even fought with a manufacture

Avoid this company. I repeat, avoid this company I took my boat for repair of a flywheel, which they quoted me $1200. Then they told me it was more difficult than they thought and it would be an extra 2 hours of work.. The boat had never had a leak in 12 years.. When I went to pick it up, the boat did not start (they had left the battery switch on), the engine compartment had 6 inches of water, and the cabin had 4 inches. Someone had removed the cover to the sump pump in the cabin and left it open. Someone had taken carpeting that was being stored in the cabin to stay dry and put it back
