Brown Family Dentistry is committed to providing quality dentistry and excellent patient service in an efficient, comfortable and caring environment. In part, this objective is met through the efforts of a professional, highly trained and compassionate dental team. We are proud of the long tenure that most of our team members have with us and sincerely believe that this consistency greatly enhances the "family feel" in our practice.
Having a flawed smile can make life more difficult for some. If one is embarrassed by their smiles, he or she is more likely to suffer from low self-image and depression. Fortunately, people do not have to suffer from a less-than-perfect smile. Where damage to a person's teeth is extreme, and apparently beyond repair, we can use porcelain crowns to make the smile appear "as new".
For 40 years, Dr. Kent R. Brown has been delivering quality dental care to patients across the Fort Worth area. Dr. Brown is a Fort Worth native and grew up only a few miles from the location of his office. He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Wesleyan University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston.
A Fort Worth native, Dr. Jacob S. Brown attended Nolan Catholic High School before completing his undergraduate studies at Texas A & M University. He then moved on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in May of 2010.
Following his graduation from dental school, he participated in a postgraduate program at Baylor College of Dentistry, receiving an accreditation in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD).Dr. Brown is dedicated and committed to providing optimum dental care to his patients. Participation in the AEGD program provided an opportunity to obtain a high level of clinical skill in cutting edge treatment options and advanced dental research.

As an adult with medical anxiety who requires a little extra bedside manner, I couldn’t speak any better of this entire office. I feel so much better about my dental care and health. Dr. Jake recently did some veneers for me and I love the way they look. He made sure they were perfect for me. All the hygienist and office staff have always been welcoming, kind, and have provided great service. I know I’m not the easiest patient so this goes such a long way.

I just love BROWN DENTISTRY! If I could give them 10 Stars I would! The service and staff are always fantastic and first class. They're always worried about how you feel and take excellent care of you while you're in the💺 chair getting work done. On my last visit " Dentist Tech Britni " took fantastic care of me.😁 She was very concerned about my comfort and made sure I was comfortable and happy. She explained everything in detail to me as work proceeded on my mouth..🤗 Dr. BROWN is always incredible. 😊 He's gentle and explains everything and always gives you options on your treatment

After moving back to Fort Worth following college and grad school, I saw another dentist to two here in town. I was never that satisfied. Then my mom reminded me that Dr. Jake had started practicing with his dad. (When Dr. Jake and I were about 5 or 6, we were on the same soccer team and Dr. Kent was our coach.) I started seeing Dr. Jake and it was a great decision. He straightened my teeth with Invisalign and even corrected them again after I was less than 100% compliant with my retainer. He's always very professional and the staff are very thorough and friendly. The cleanings are always top notch

Brown Family dentistry has a great staff that were super helpful during my entire experience. Erika with the front desk helped communicate all COVID-19 protocols prior to both of my visits. I recently had a filling done with Mint that just did not set right. After several visits and losing confidence in their ability to help I contacted Brown.
Dr.Jake helped explain some of the causes with my issue and had a few options for me to explore in getting them fixed. The same day of my filling I was far better off than after 3 trips to the corporate dentist office.

I had a large chip in my front tooth over the weekend, called my Dentist on Monday only to find out he was out of town for the week. Concerned I might break off before he got back I called Brown Family Dentistry and got an appointment the next day. The staff was excellent and friendly and Dr Kent Brown repaired my tooth and it feels and looks great. I noticed that their practice seems to be up to date with the latest technology and is a very clean and modern appearing. This practice is great. Thanks

Truly a family dentistry. I’ve been coming here since I was a small child. Now I bring my own kids here. Dr Brown and now Dr Jake, do a great job taking care of our teeth. Always very professional, they vigilantly take care of our dental needs without recommending unnecessary procedures. All the staff is excellent.

Dr. Brown senior did a phenomenal job on my teeth for a reasonable price. My experience was relaxing, and I was met with genuine kindness from all of the staff. I kept saying to myself for so long “All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth” and although it’s January, Brown Family Dentistry fulfilled my desire to be able to smile again.

Dr Kent Brown and all of the staff are great, but not true of the son, Dr. Jacob Brown. Last time I was in there the son yelled at me for not getting a dental implant, which my oral surgeon advised me that I did not need. The son told me that I had an active infection that would send me to the emergency room if I did not get the implant. That's been about 6 months ago and no emergency room trips so far. Looking for another dentist.

I highly recommend Brown Family Dentistry. I have been to a number of dentists in Fort Worth, but I’ve finally found the right spot. I have been a patient of Dr. Jake for about 4 years, and I have had nothing but the best service from their team each time. From standard check-ups to fillings to teeth whitening, I’ve always been happy with Brown Family Dentistry. During check-ups after the cleaning is complete, Dr. Jake always takes the time to talk to you in detail about any concerns and what your options could be. Love the service and the staff. Always an enjoyable experience to go to an appointment. I prefer some techs and cleaners over others but they are all great and well educated. The bedside manner of Dr. Jake and Dr. Brown is honestly the best from a dentist. My daughter sees Dr. Jake and I see Dr. Brown so we have experienced both. Very happy I found this gem of an office and I recommend to everyone because I believe you are missing out if you are not getting your dental needs meet here.

After researching the best rated dentists online I chose Brown Family Dentistry. Luckily, reading reviews about businesses I'm interested in pays off. Dr. Jake, Jennifer and the staff I met yesterday were about as nice as you can get. No long, annoying waits to get in, professional atmosphere presented in a comfortable, easy manner. The time spent with me explaining and putting all my options out there went above what I have experienced in the past with other dentists. Brown Family Dentistry is the best you can get when it comes to your dental needs. The administrative staff is very friendly and accommodating, and provide a great environment for your visits. Dr. Kent and Dr. Jake are top quality dentists who care about their patients. The hygienists are very gentle and careful and you can trust that they are doing a quality job. They are also very friendly and down to earth and even remember things from conversations you had at your last visit! I have been coming here for over 20 years and have never had a complaint. Highly recommend this practice!!!

I've been going to Brown Family Dentistry since I was a little kid (around 30 years). Everyone there is nice and easy to talk to. I have an IT support job so quite often I have to reschedule my appointments with very little notice and they always work with me without complaint. Dr. Brown, and now his son, are great dentists who seem to really know their stuff. I've had some cosmetic type work done there on multiple occasions with no issues and I've been completely happy with the end result. Would recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to give them a try.
