Dr. Hamilton's normal office hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Thursday, but he understands that emergencies don't run on a timetable. Depending on the severity of the problem, we will make a judgement as to how urgent your situation is, and will get you in to the office appropriately. So. when you have an dental emergency, what can you do to improve your chances of a good outcome.
Dentists have chosen this field of medicine to relieve the suffering of those who have problems with their teeth, gums, and ailments of the mouth in general. As such, they want to do their job causing as little discomfort as possible. A lot of dentistry is preemptive, that is, we try to head off any problems before they become too painful or become a general health hazard.
Today, when the dentist gives you a "local" before doing any work, that might cause the nerve to "heat up" and cause you discomfort, the most likely drug of choice is Lidocaine. Since any painful side effects associated with most dental procedures are short lived, there is no need for you to have your gums, cheek, or tongue numb all day.
If anxiety before and during dental procedures is an issue you deal with, Nitrous Oxide may be just what you need to make you feel more comfortable and relaxed. If you have used it before with good calming results, please let Dr. Hamilton know that is what you want. He will be glad to accommodate you.
The most common type of dental repair work is the removal of the decayed part of the tooth and the use of dental fillings to replace the void that is caused by the decay. Dental fillings are an easier and less expensive way to fix tooth cavities. It is important to catch tooth decay early, when this easier method of repair can be used.

Love love love this dentist office!! I hate going to the dentist I get anxiety and I’ll just put it off as much as possible.I went back in April and had to get two extractions the dentist was very caring and understanding.I’m making another appointment and seeing that I did not leave a review I thought I would go ahead it is never too late to give a good review!!

I visited Dr. Hamilton at Precise Dental and had my initial appointment recently. Hands down remarkable in every way. The hygienist MendyKaye was the best dental hygienist I have ever met. Absolutely amazing, professionally AND personally! MK is soooo sweet and knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable and well taken care of. She's very insightful, which made it so easy to trust her with my dental care. Her and Dr. Hamilton were both very thorough and I can honestly say that my first appointment with them was the best experience I've ever had in a dentist office. Dr. Hamilton and his staff are the best! I hate going to the dentist and I needed to for some time now so after I got dental insurance I went on Google and researched! This place has some great reviews so I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed at all. Dr. Hamilton and his staff are respectful, considerate and attentive! I went without a Dentist for over 10 yrs and asked friends to recommend one. Two different friends, that didn't know each other, both told me about Dr. Hamilton, so I called and found out that they took my insurance and made an appointment. From my very first visit I was impressed. They are professional but friendly and took really good care of me, and it didn't cost me a small fortune. If you're in need of an excellent dentist, Dr. Hamilton is at the top of my list.
