If searching for an eye doctor, Dallas's own Plaza Vision Center provides comprehensive eye care services. We certainly provide routine eye care services for the whole family-no patient is too young or too old. Newman & Chen specializes in the management of keratoconus, a debilitating corneal disease.
He then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO). During that time, he completed externship rotations at the Albuquerque VA Hospital and at Plaza Vision Center with our very own Dr. Newman. He graduated summa cum laude with his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018. While in optometry school, Dr. Chen enjoyed being involved in numerous student organizations helping the community.
New patients keep our business growing, so we are always proud to provide optometry services to our patients from the Dallas area. We understand that your first visit to the eye doctor can feel overwhelming, and we try to accommodate all new patients with a pleasant experience. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.
In order to ensure that your first visit goes smoothly, we would appreciate for you to have your medical and insurance information entered through an online web registration before your visit. You can do this from the comfort of your own home! You can even fax us your forms or drop them off prior to your appointment to speed up your first visit.
Here at Plaza Vision Center, we place a strong emphasis on routine or wellness eye exams. A comprehensive eye exam covers a lot and plays a major role in your overall health, including checking for signs of diseases like diabetes and hypertension, as well as eye conditions such as glaucoma or cataracts.
