There's nothing to fear with a dental exam. Your teeth will be visually examined for signs of plaque, tartar and tooth decay. Your gums will also be examined for puffiness or discoloration, which are signs of gum disease. A full set of dental X-rays may also be taken during your dental exam, to enable your dentist to see below the surfaces of your teeth.

Dr. Ly is an expert and professional at what he does and it showed! My primary dentist referred my 3 year old son to a downtown pediatric dentist who specializes in sedating children to get fillings work done. I did it with my daughter and although it went well, I regretted because of the risk and danger of sedating young children. I've been coming to this office for awhile. I do like the staff and the dr is nice. The services are good. However, it's becoming too expensive. I've noticed as the time goes by the fees have increased which I know it's normal for inflation. Not only does the dental fee increased, they started charging on more fees towards the patients. For example if you use a card to pay the copay, they make you pay a percent fee and it used to never be like that. I had an impacted wisdom tooth that was partially erupted and close to the nerves. None of the oral surgeons in Stockton, where I'm from were able to pull it out! Dr. Ly and his team are phenomenal! When a family member or myself is in the chair, I have their full attention. Our needs come first. They never leave our side to work on someone else. Choosing to come to Divine Dental Solutions, I would have to say it was the right choice. My first time experience there was good. Dr. Ly, Ms. Pa, and the staffs are all very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They helped answer all my concerns and questions I had. Late post: About a year ago I was getting major pain from my wisdom teeth growing in. My family and I have been with Dr. Ly for about 10years. The BEST wisdom teeth extraction specialist in Northern California. I had mine taken out about a week ago. I was very nervous and did not know what to expect as I did not want any anesthesia. Dr. Ly did an incredible job of explaining each step of the procedure to me. Everyone was very kind and made sure I felt comfortable. Very good energy here. The procedure was painless, no anesthesia and everything went smoothly. Dr. Ly called me the following morning to see how I was doing and I thought that was very kind. Dr. Ly was amazing. He made my dentist visit very pleasant and informative. He took his time in explaining the process and my best interest. His tooth extraction skills are by far the best I've have ever experienced. Seriously I didn't even feel when he pulled my wisdom tooth out. He is also very good with kids. Let me begin by saying that Divine Dental was my 3rd consultation on having my 3 wisdom teeth extracted. The first wanted to do the extraction under general anesthesia, which I did not want and when I requested that he do the extraction while I was awake, he said he would not extract my teeth. The second almost said the same thing, but offered a lighter sedation method. I wanted to be completely conscious during the procedure and that is when I stumbled upon Divine Dental Solutions. Mind you I am from Stockton, but drove all the way to Sacramento to consult with Dr. Ly.

Dr. Ly was amazing. I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction and he explained the procedure to me very thoroughly. I was really nervous at first and I hate going to the dentist as I hated getting the novocaine shots. Dr. Ly made me feel very comfortable and I did not feel the shot at all. While removing my two bottom wisdom teeth, I was able to watch a movie and he talked me through the whole thing, which was really comforting. I was awake during the whole procedure but I couldn't feel a thing.

Dr. Ly has been my son and my dentist for the past several months and we couldn't be happier. Every time my son and I've needed to come in, everything has gone extremely smooth. Dr. Ly and his staff is very upfront regarding billing and always offer different choices as to best help individual needs. Dr Ly is by far the best dentist!
Hands down he's the best dentist I've ever had. He's very patient, kind and understanding. My former dentist always made me feel rushed and feel like I had to get in and get out as quickly as possible because she had the next patient to work on.
With Dr Ly, he really takes the time to clean your teeth and he does a really good job...not just take your money and rush you out of the office.
His staff at the front are also very professional and the nicest people ever. I recommend Dr Ly to all my friends, family and coworkers now.

Called and spoke with Pa at 2pm, walked into dental office at 3pm, and out of the dental office by 4pm with my wisdom tooth extracted. It was fast, painless, and affordable! I cannot thank Dr. Ly and his professional staffs enough for taking me in so fast and getting my tooth extracted ASAP when I was in pain. I will be recommending everyone I know to Dr. Ly. :)
