The most common cause is bacteria. My past visits with McDonald Dental have been great. Today, I was taken care of my Zoey and it was a pleasant experience. She was very professional and friendly and my teeth felt great after the cleaning session. The staff up front are amazing and really nice. One of them knows me by name and always greets me when I walk in with a smile.

From the moment I walked into the office every person I came into contact with was very friendly. It was my first time at the office so I needed to get x-rays but my hygienist was so incredibly nice and explained everything step by step. I needed a filling, again the assistant was very nice and explained everything step by step. The young lady who went over my benefits for the filling, very nice and explained everything great. Dr. Nail is just as great!! I highly recommend!!!

Dr Nail and his staff are extremely professional and very friendly. When Dr Nail saw the reason for my appointment (root canal) he tried to find time to get me in early - how nice! He is very thorough in determining the problems with my teeth and makes the recommendations best for me. I travel over an hour to see him and it’s well worth it!

I love this dentist and everyone that helped me with my first visit!!! I was a nervous wreck going there but I had heard great things about the dentist Dr. Kevin Nails. This is what a dentist office should be like. He is a dentist who cares about me and what it will take to make me happy with my dental health. Unlike so many these days who are more concerned about how much money they can convince me that I need to spend. I am happy, and sincerely overjoyed. This was my first appointment since Dr. McDonald retired and Dr Nail took over the practice. The staff is, as always, very friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Nail is very kind and easy to talk to about options. I would highly recommend this practice for your family's dental needs. Although Dr. McDonald is a great dentist, beware of the office staff. Their insurance quotes are usually off and they do not update the records with the information we are required to take the time to fill out. This is the second time I found out a year later that I had a balance and they said I was ignoring their letters. They did have my correct phone and email but didn't try to contact me that way. The first time it happened they threatened to send me to collections. All they had to do is call me!

They were very friendly here! I didn't have to wait long at all to get seen. The place overall is very comfortable and clean. I loved the atmosphere and the staff. After our visit, they gave us a clear and easy to understand breakdown of the price of my dental work. Loved them! Zoey was especially great. She explained everything that was happening & she was really sweet & funny. She calmed my bad nerves a lot!

Dr. McDonald has been my dentist for as long as I can remember. I've never had one complaint when it comes to the service this office provides, from walking in and being greeted until I'm out the chair with a crisp clean smile. The best in Houston! Dr. McDonald is a fine dentist and man. He is very skilled at and keeps his office up to date with all the new edge technology. Dr. McDonald is an excellent Dentist! A family friend recommended him to us and I'm so glad we decided to see him. The office is very nice and clean. They offer coffee, water, and snacks while you're waiting for after your visit. The staff is very polite and friendly. Our first visit were just cleanings and he found some cavities in both my daughter and myself. We rescheduled for the work and I have to say, it was probably the most pleasant dental visit I've had. We will continue to see him for years to come!

I had my first appointment today with Dr. Louis McDonald and Zoe, Dental Technician. It was a great experience from the first phone call to ask some questions to checking in to the cleaning by Zoe and then the final check with Dr. McDonald.
My teeth and gums can be sensitive and Zoe was very careful and continually checked with me if there was any discomfort. She was outstanding and easy to work with.
Dr. McDonald gave me a suggestion for teeth care and I was impressed with how he runs the office. Great staff, friendly and everyone is a true professional.

I saw Dr. Klein after visiting another dentist that was not so great. I saw the first dentist for a cleaning and was told I needed to replace an old filling. I had the work done a couple of days later and was in constant pain afterwards. I saw Dr. Klein to "repair" the damage. The first dentist also told me I needed work on two additional teeth that I was not having problems with. Dr. Klein's office took several X-rays and honestly told me I didn't need the extra dental work. Conservative Dental Office: After moving from the Dallas area, I needed to find a new dentist, so I checked online with Nextdoor.com and with Yelp.com. I've finally found a dentist since moving to Houston! Very pleased with coming here. Yelp reviews didn't mislead me. Dr. McDonald and his staff are all very nice. The hygienist did a great job!
Mouth and tooth pain can be the worst kind of pain. I just had several cavities filled in one session and it was the best experience I've ever had. I always have a lot of jaw pain during dental procedures and Dr. McDonald was considerate and caring the entire time, which meant a lot. I also had some bonding done (which I am very pleased with) and plan on getting more cosmetic work here in

Dr.McDonald is the best dentist that I have ever been to. My entire family goes to him, including my children. His dentistry is spot on perfect and he is a kind and gentle dentist that makes you feel at peace when having work done. There is no wait time and his staff are so polite and nice also. I've had my share of dentists, and this place is definitely my favorite! Drs. McDonald and Chiu are both extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the dental hygienists are all so sweet.
They have a new patient special where you get a free exam and radiographs etc, which is really nice. They even gave me a fleece blanket after my first visit! :D
