Stayed here for a golf trip. Golf was great...this resort however is the most nastiest resort I have been too. We arrived on a Thursday and was greeted by a beautiful roach and then the upstairs shower had quite the amount of roaches in the tub. Called the front desk and was told someone would be out and no one ever came out and no one came to clean the tub... In addition the room closet had quite the amount of mold and water damage. Again no one came out or offered us another room. For the owner who will respond the reservation was at 911 Inverness Village under Anderson ..Needless to say this

Love Palmetto Dunes. Our 10th visit. New unit. Location and amenities and flexible reservations. Unit 410 Barrington was in dire need of updating other than bathrooms and kitchen. Patio door was extremely difficult to open . Clogged drain and broken coffee maker and other minor issues were responded to after 2nd call 36 hours later. I would not stay in this unit again but will return to Palmetto Dunes.

Vacationer Beware - 288 Turnberry Upon entry, unit was filthy and smelled moldy. Turns out, there’s extensive water damage to the walls and floor. Both are rotting on the main floor. Upstairs was so dirty that we had to vacuum up dead bugs and large bits of old food. Vacuum “bag” was dumped twice. Still doesn’t feel clean. We’re continuing to do a lot as we go. Trash can be found under the beds, in drawers, in closets, behind living room TV, etc. Fungus is growing from deck chairs. There’s nowhere safe, clean, nice to relax on the back deck. So much for a “view.” Called Tuesday

Amazing experience. Loved the house and the local beach was beautiful. Also a Mexican restaurant called Blue Laguna is right down the street from Palmetto Dunes. Went on fun bike rides around the place. It feels more neighborhoody because everything is pretty close at the resort compared to sea pines. Love it can’t wait to come back next summer!

We love the entire Palmetto Dunes Community from the general store to the bike rentals to dunes house! It is a great location on the island and no matter where you stay on the resort there are plenty of beach access points. The home we stay in is owner managed and they are always very prompt on getting back to us and accommodating us. The house comes with bikes, beach chairs, sand toys for kids, a private pool with plenty of pool chairs, everything needed in kitchen and bathrooms. We have been coming to Palmetto Dunes for 8 years and we love it!

Nastiest villa I have ever stayed in! The floors looked like they werent mopped in years... as soon as my kids took there shoes off and walked around for 10 minutes there feet were black. We found trash including cigarette boxes under the furniture along with about 10 years of dust and dirt. The only good thing is the layout out of the resort and that you can walk to different places. I think I would stay on one of the may other places on the island.
