Services
The Syringa Room, named after our state flower, is on the ground floor and has a patio sitting area in front of the room. The bath is a tub/shower combination and equipped to accommodate less mobile folks. With a queen bed and a extra long twin, the Sryringa Room works well for those who need two separate beds or extra space for a third person.
Horse racing played a major role in the creation of what is now the Reflections Inn. The Inn was first built in 1959 as a private retreat for a Los Angeles pharmacist, born and raised in Kamiah, Idaho, who'd made a fair amount of money from patenting race horse salves. After his passing it evolved into Bella Vista, a Dude Ranch under the care of his daughter and son-in-law, a relative of the Tommy Dorsey family.
Our sparsely populated and scenic area has a wide variety of outdoor experiences with interspersed interpretive sites and attractions. Our rustic little towns are sprinkled with homey eateries and occasional shopping. Short excursions or day-long trips are easily navigated from Reflections Inn. Here are some great resources to assist you in your exploration and "discovery" of our area.
Reflections Inn is happy to celebrate over 20 years in business by offering retreats and workshops in accordance with our goals and visions. Enjoy 3 nights away from home to focus on initiating or completing writing projects in a peaceful, inspiring setting with a small group of other writers, facilitated by Paula Marie Coomer.

Upon arrival we were met by Jeff, who was welcoming and friendly. He made us feel at home immediately.
We stayed in the Ponderosa Room. The room and outdoor amenities were wonderful. Attention to detail everywhere. The room was cozy and had microwave, fridge, coffee maker and anything needed for a great stay. The patio and fireplace area is awesome. The the outside area at each room included table and chairs to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend staying here!

Thank you to Jeff the innkeeper and his family for a wonderful stay. The location was charming and the room and amenities were great. I just loved the outdoor patio on the hill and the porch seating. Everything was nicely done. I would just love to come back!!! The river road drive there was incredible.

What a wonderful “find” for our two nights on the Clearwater, which is under new ownership! My husband had spent many summer vacations in the area, fly-fishing his favorite three rivers (Lochsa, Selway, and Clearwater). I wanted to explore the area with him, complete with fly rods. This inn has spacious property and rooms, a deck with tables and a great view, very comfortable bed, air-conditioning, a full community kitchen and refrigerator, and even a washer and dryer. We were welcomed upon arrival by our incredible host Jeff, who chatted and laughed with us, advised us on the best fishing

Immediately upon driving in we were met by Jeff, one of the new owners, who is warm, friendly and very personable. After registering he directed to our room, equally as warm and quaintly appointed with Western theme. Accomodations were replete with an outdoor BBQ & tables & chairs available if you opt to bring the fixin's to cook your own meals (recommended, as restaurants are lacking).
The Inn is located directly across the two-lane hwy (12) from the Clearwater river. After settling in we asked Jeff for local recommendations, he pointed us to a great swimming hole about a mile down the river
