Joan Wolford has over 30 years of event planning and fine culinary experience. Joan moved from New Jersey when she was awarded a position at the Heart in Hand in Clifton, Virginia. It was there that she fell in love with the great hospitality and cuisine of the South.
Suzanne Worsham, the Heart in Hand's owner and head chef, took Joannie under her wings and taught her the most valuable trait in business-a good work ethic and a passion for creating fine food.Side by side, Suzanne and Joan fed the famous, to include Nancy Reagan and George Will on a regular basis.

Everyone talks about the food at a wedding, good or bad. With Savoir Fare, not only will your guests rave about the food, they will clean their plates! My now-husband and I did the SF tasting awhile back with Lyndse, who was so easy to work with and clearly very knowledgeable; she offered a lot of great advice. The food was fantastic, and it was an obvious decision to hire. Come the wedding, everyone in the wedding party agreed how amazing and helpful Lyndse was with Day-of Coordination; we would’ve been lost without her. Our guests all complimented the food and staff; we even caught some bartenders

Savoir Fare was supposed to cater my wedding this year. Due to our most recent communications, I’m glad they didn’t.
As everyone knows, a wedding previously planned for this year has turned out to be stressful for many couples and families. Joan, the owner and executive chef, has been incredibly rude and unprofessional in her emails to my fiancé and my wedding planner regarding our scheduling deposit. This is unfortunate because Kaitlynn, who we worked with early on is absolutely wonderful.
From simply inquiring about how to make things work, Joan has replied aggressively. We get it, everyone

Savoir Fare helped us make our wedding day so special! We had to postpone our original plans to 2021, but planned a small COVID-friendly wedding on short notice locally. We reached out to Katelynn with really only a few weeks notice and she was amazing!
They put together individual appetizer and dessert boxes for our guests so we could keep everything socially distanced. They had great ideas for menu options that would hold up easily and incorporated all of our requests. There was plenty to eat and everything was absolutely delicious!

Savoir Fare catered our wedding this September and did a fabulous job! Food and drinks were delicious and plentiful, and catering staff was friendly and professional. Katelynn provided our day of coordination services and did an excellent job organizing and staying on top of our event. I highly recommend Savoir Fare for your event!

Savoir Fare did an outstanding job catering our recent backyard wedding reception. The food was great and plentiful, the staff was very professional and friendly, and their expertise gave me time to thoroughly enjoy the event and our guests. Katelynn was easy to work with and very flexible. I would highly recommend them to all.

Savior Fare—specifically Lyndse—was truly the best vendor to work with for our wedding this past June. From our initial tasting, through the entire planning process, the change in plans due to COVID-19, and finally their food and service for our small wedding ceremony, SF was amazing.

Lyndse and her team at Savoir Fare not only had the most exceptional service, but the food was exceptional. The servers and bartenders created moments with my guests to make them feel special and taken care of. Lyndse herself walked through all the different rental plans with me and kept me calm the entire time. She is exceptional! I seriously can't imagine going with any other caterer!

The staff catered my sister's wedding and were amazing! Very professional, attentive, and friendly. They accommodated all the guests dietary concerns, the food was tasty, and the dessert pies were stellar. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lyndse, who coordinated everything. She made everything we wanted happen smoothly and graciously took care of Everyone! Just top notch all around.
