The building was once an operating grainery in the farming community of Summit Point. After a series of businesses at this location over the years, Railside Market has become a fixture in Summit Point. We are a friendly, welcoming and unique country store as well as a small grocery, convenience store, deli and eatery.
Railside Market is a family owned and operated business, and we take pride in our store and community. We are always striving to meet the growing needs of our clientele. Our continued expansion of services has drawn people from all over the county as they return for their favorite soup or sandwich.

Services
Last September, we hosted our son's wedding in our backyard. We had a perfect day that was complimented with the most perfect food! We started our search for a caterer earlier in the year and came across "Railside". From the start, Deanna was the ideal choice for us. She worked with us to get the menu for our occasion in the price range that we wanted to be.

Ordered a grilled ham and cheese and the price was 8$ instead of the usual 2.50$ it was last week. When I asked the cashier if it was a 8$ sandwich she responded with its the same as a sub so she rung me up for that. I asked for a receipt and she said the machine was broken.
A couple weeks later
I've been going back and haven't had the problem again. The food is pretty good and the rest of the cashier's r good. I have not seen the one who over charged me so if she's gone or if it was a honest mistake then it's not a bad joint. Would change it from 1 star to 5 but I don't think it was a mistake

This is the ONLY place to grab a bite while attending any racing events at Summit Point Motorsports. The food options at the track are pretty slim and miserable. We ordered 30 bagged lunches for our race team and not only were they delicious and reasonably priced with big helpings, but they dropped them off to our site! You can't ask for anything else! They are friendly and very accommodating. Please support this awesome small business. You won't be disappointed!

The only game in town but it's very good. I especially like the breakfast sandwich. It is also interesting that they have a poster board filled with currency from around the world. I thought it was odd for such a small out of the way town like Summit Point but the staff told me it was from trainees coming over from GardaWorld down the street. Looks like they come from around the world.

This place has some of the best subs I've eaten. Everything is very fresh and it's great for a lunch spot. It's very busy at lunch so you might want to call ahead. It's also small so you'll be squeezed in there with everyone at lunch. They also get a lot of business from the race track nearby so get there early!

Completely rude woman on the phone hung up on me. They didn't update their specials board online when I had called, so I took 10 seconds to look at their menu. A wretched woman's voice was heard in the background saying they didn't have time to wait. Then the woman on the phone just hung up without saying a word. The food is bland at best and overpriced. The place is small, dingy and dirty. Most likely the only reason they are still in business is that there is no other places to go locally. Those clowns just lost a return customer. Good riddance. I will take my business

If you're @ BSR for a class, this place is less than a mile away.
I am not ordinarily a sandwich guy but I had a sandwich...
It was ginormous, huge, massive... holy sh#t this is a lot of sandwich. Bun was fresh, meat was fresh sliced there and of good quality.
Price was pretty fair - I paid less than 10 bucks for an absurdly large sandwich and an iced tea.
Over the week my classmates had the burgers (they assessed to be average) and pizza (also assessed to be average sub shop pizza) and other goodies which they were all generally pleased with. I wish I'd tried the pulled pork sandwich

Stopped in for carry out yesterday, and it greatly exceeding my expectations. I live down the road a mile or two , and always come by for quick on the way home purchases but never had got try any of the food until today. Had a great pork tenderloin sandwich, very home style, but still very high restaurant quality. Will defiantly return to this gem for more meals, not just beer and cigarettes .

Good place for sandwiches if you are at the BSR track/range. There are hot menu items like small pizzas but I did not evaluate them. If you can I'd call ahead to have your order ready for the lunch rush.
The online menu appears different from the paper menu. I tried the Junction, Caboose and Hobo. The Junction is ham, salami, pepperoni, bologna and provolone, which at that point I guess is only missing bacon. The website lists the caboose as something different than I recall as the caboose. The best one though was the Hobo (which doesn't seem to be listed); roast beef, provolone and

If you're a local, you already know the place well, so I will assume that you're at the track, looking for a better meal option than a DIY nacho kit from the snack bar. You found it.
This is 1 mile to the penny from the speedway entrance and it's basically a convenience store and sandwich shop. Nothing fancy, but the staff are friendly, prices are reasonable, and there's plenty of seating indoors and out. At this writing, they even have wi-fi, which is nice, because the cell towers aren't quite making it, here.
