Just outside Winchester, Virginia is an award-winning, woman-owned BBQ spot inside a gas station market. Here's why you should go:
1) Food: Winning "best BBQ in the Valley" for 12 years, the menu is full of BBQ from brisket to pulled pork sandwiches. Stopping in for lunch, I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with two sides and an orange soda. My sandwich came with a tub of vinegar-based BBQ sauce, baked beans (delicious!) and mac and cheese. My pulled pork was quality.
2) Price: For a pulled pork sandwich, two sides and a bottle soda, my bill came to under $11. Visiting from expensive Washington

Food is not good. I've been twice and disappointed both times. Brisket and pulled pork both burnt and mostly just greesey fat. Ruben sandwich was a thin, wet, sloppy mess. Collard greens tasted awful. And, to top it off, hair in my food. I won't be back for a third time. I don't know what the buzz is all about. At least there's a Mission BBQ in town.
