Even though I was born in northern Virginia, at age 5 my family moved to the suburbs of Baltimore Maryland. My Mom and Dad decided that they wanted more property to house horses and other farm animals. We moved to Carroll County in 1986 and I've resided here every since. My mother loved gardening and I would help her with flower beds.
Avery Kershaw 10/12/19 Wendy was amazing to work with, and even more amazing at designing the perfect bouquets! She was responsive and open to any suggestions or ideas. We didn't have too many flowers, but the bouquets and ceremony decorations were outstanding! She was very accommodating and flexible, and she delivered and assembled very timely!.
Heading into the 5th year of business. I'm reminding how amazing it has been to have such a wonderful place to design my flowers. I can't tell you how simply beautiful of a space it is to work from and how lovely the country side. When I pull up to my front door, its like being on a farm. Deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and even a calf has ran by my studio doors.

I contacted Wendy at somewhat late notice to create a basket of flowers for a funeral. I simply told her how much I wanted to spend and she did the rest. The arrangement was stunning - beautiful and unique - exactly what I was hoping for and more. I would absolutely recommend Flowers by Wendy Carol.

I'm so glad that we found Wendy for our wedding flowers! She was so easy to work with and knew how to work to stay within our budget. She was also incredibly creative and helped to come up with ideas that I had never even thought of to bring our vision to life. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL and she sent me tons of sneak peeks before the wedding day to make sure that I was happy with them. I'm so happy we now have a go-to florist for any future events!

We used Wendy for our floral arrangements and wedding bouquet. We sent her some pictures with ideas of things we liked and she nailed the exact look that we wanted. In addition to the main arrangements, we also dropped off 20 mason jars and she created small arrangements to use throughout the venue. On the day she dropped off the flowers, she went above and beyond by taking extra time to line some of those small arrangements on the chairs coming down the aisle (her idea that we absolutely loved). If we ever need flowers again, we would have complete trust in her and recommend her for your own events

I'm so glad we chose Wendy to be our florist on our wedding day (10/13/19). Wendy was super easy to work with and created exactly what I wanted for our flowers and some ceremony decorations for a reasonable price. Our bouquets and boutonnieres were all ready at the venue for us on our day so we didn't have to worry about anything. The bouquets were absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend Wendy

Any time I need fresh or silk flowers I know I can count on Wendy for her creativity, professionalism and easy way of coming up with the prettiest (and most cost effective when I'm on a tight budget) arrangement. She is highly skilled and wonderful to work with whether is one arrangement for the entire floral decor for a private event. Wendy is awesome!
