Dr. John Kim views treating patients as a privilege and an honor and strives to make each visit a truly positive and educational experience. Originally a pre-health science student attending the University of Puget Sound, Dr. Kim saw a presentation by the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry that sparked his interest in the dental field.
Just as a constant drip of water will eventually wear down solid rock, years of constant daily use can slowly wear down our teeth. To keep our smiles functioning in top form and looking great, quite literally everyone needs the services of a qualified restorative dentist. Our Seattle dentists at Elliott Bay Dental are truly phenomenal.
Dr. Misty Cervantes-Kim is passionate about great dentistry. Thorough, honest, detail-oriented, and creative, Dr. Cervantes-Kim has a reputation for exceeding her patients' expectations as a cosmetic dentist in Seattle. Currently pursuing her fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Cervantes-Kim stays on top of her field through continuing education, attending lectures, and studying the latest journal findings.
Dr. Jaimie Kwon graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry, with a DDS degree. Her passion for dentistry grows each and every day as she interacts with her patients. As a cosmetic dentist in Seattle, she wants to provide comprehensive care and will take the time to answer any questions patients may have.
As we designed our state-of-the-art office, we knew we had an opportunity to do something special for our patients. We wanted our practice to revolve around your comfort and privacy, making each visit an extremely positive experience. For busy folks such as myself, this is the place for you. Dr. Kim is polite, professional, and very efficient. He goes step by step in the right amount of detail, gets you on your way as fast as possible, and you walk away knowing your treatment was the best of the best. His assistants are top notch too!

I had to change from my regular dentist (after many years) to Elliott Bay as my new insurance didn't cover him. Well, with misgivings I went for a couple of cleanings. I didn't want to like them but they were fabulous. So nice, customer service is great, funny (good humored). Explain everything before it happens. Today, I had to have a crown double dose of anesthesia as first dose wasn't good enough. No question of even trying with 1st dose based on my review of not numb enough. No pain involved. Not saying I loved it but I got through it. These guys are great and progressive with

I was referred to Elliott Bay Dental by co-workers and it also was close to our office. I had not been to a dentist in 6 years and on my first visit I was greeted by friendly staff in the modern waiting room, and I appreciated they had free water bottles.
I went in carefree and was glad to find I didn't have any cavities or issues, so I only required a deep cleaning. I attribute the frequent coconut oil pulling over the years for having a healthy mouth.
I have gone every 6 months ever since for a regular cleaning

I just finished my first visit with Dr Kim and his team. I can't recommend them highly enough. From the time you enter the waiting room til the time you exit, you are treated by an extremely professional and highly competent staff. The office is pristine and is thoroughly modern. I’ve been going to Elliot Bay Dental since I moved to Seattle, over 2 yrs now. The office is very clean, and I felt welcomed every time Im here. Delina’s extremely gentle when cleaning my teeth, and the orthodontist Dr. Kim referred near UW to get my wisdom teeth out couldn’t be better! I felt minimal pain during recovery. I’d recommend it to everyone.

This place is amazing! Dr Kim did an awesome job on my crown and Lydia his assistant was amazing, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed she made sure I felt at ease in the dental chair. I will recommend this place to anyone who asks of a great dentist in Seattle. I love how everything including the technology is updated.

This is one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. I arrived to a big parking lot, and then entered a super cute, modern clinic. All the staff was super caring, gentle, informative, thorough and skilled. They even tucked me in with a blanket and pillow. I had zero pain during my cleaning - even on my most sensitive teeth - and my teeth look sparkly now. I saw Dr. Misty and would definitely recommend her, and this entire clinic.

I've never had a dental experience this good and EBD is one of a kind. Had a first appointment and at no point did I feel taken advantage of (as dentist in the past were like car mechanics, saying you need this and that). Today though was the icing on the cake. I had a filling put in and I was brought back a few mins. before my appointment, in the chair, doc welcomed me, put the novocaine in, got to work, kept asking if I was ok and well, and in less than 15 minutes, I was done. Zero pain, zero issues. Was then worried that with dinnertime very soon, the novocaine would not wear off. It wore

Elliot Bay Dental is truly one of a kind. From the cookies they give you at your initial appointment to welcome you to the family, to the attention and care of the dental hygienists and assistants, I've never gone to a dental office that has treated me with as much care as Elliot Bay.
Not to mention the short wait times, beautiful facilities and coffee station...
I chose Elliott Bay because it is right next door to my orthodontist L&V but I can't help but feel like I struck gold in finding them. Definitely an office I recommend!

Number 1 - they give you free cookies! Number 2 - Dr Kim and Dr Misty are awesome! I love going here and have had quite a bit done unfortunately. The office staff are super sweet and very welcoming. They treat you family here and always take time out with me to walk through procedures, plans, uncertainties, etc.
Going to the dentist isn't that Bad after all...as long as you go to the right one! Go here, get sparkly, be happy and don't forget about those bomb cookies :)

Thank you so much for treating my parents with the utmost level of care and respect. Dr. Kim explained every aspect of their treatments in a way they were able to best understand and my parents felt at ease and comfortable through the whole process. He gave them realistic expectations and answered all their questions throughout every step of their treatment. We also felt that the front office staff was warm and welcoming both on the phone and in person. We love the team at Elliot Bay Dental and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Nice office is new, modern and welcoming. Staff is very polite, respectful and helpful throughout the whole process. Every step is explained by the assistant and dentist. I love that all the specialists are there. Estimate of cost and my out of pocket expense were fully explained at the end of my visit. All of my adult dental needs in one place.

This was more like a spa visit than a dentist appointment. The lobby is stocked with a fridge full of high-quality concessions, a Keurig machine, and even a cookie jar! Throughout the building wafts the smell of homemade chocolate chip cookies (of which all first time patrons receive a batch).
Laura, the technician, took my x-rays and made me feel very at home. Besides the regular stuff, this office has all kinds of cool gadgets like a 360 degree x

Trust me. I'm 33, I love sugar. I've had teeth pulled, cavities filled, braces, mouth guards, work done up the wazoo all over Seattle. And this office is THE DOPEST.
