Services
We provide full service lab testing for soil, aggregate, and concrete projects contracted in our Manassas, Virginia location laboratory. Soil Consultants Engineering (SCE) laboratory is used for the company's contracted geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and observation projects.
Jenn Smith is the third generation running SCE serving as President & Business Development of the company.
Jenn earned her Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University and spent ten years working for the National Association of Convenience Stores serving multiple roles as an information technology coordinator, a programming and education manager overseeing the coordination and management of a multitude of industry events and a the retail membership manager connecting with members in the industry.

Doug is the third generation at SCE and currently serves as Vice President & Operations Director of the company. He ran multiple businesses throughout high school and college, while working as a technician and inspector for SCE. Through this experience, he learned the basics of business development, construction inspections and engineering.
Manage the accounting, human resource and administrative activities, including accounting, billing, A/R, A/P, HR management, customer/vendor contract administration, facilities, and supporting company requirements and relationships. Initiate process improvement and reporting initiatives to increase efficiencies and improve performance.
