From the time Signature opened until now, the customer service has greatly declined. The front desk worker isn't friendly. They give a time and never stick to it. I always end up waiting hours and they change frequently how long until someone is available. They used to offer a beverage and that hasn't happened for months.

I went here as a walk in, because I was picking my Daughter up from college for the holiday break. My feet were absolutely terrible when I arrived, so much so, that my Daughter wouldn't even come with me. Diane did an absolutely fabulous job and my feet look and feel amazing. I promised her I would be coming back at least once a month, rather than the almost 5 months it had been. Staff is wonderful, and the facility is nice and clean, and the technicians are very talented and great at making you look and feel wonderful!

I have had great service here. This visit was the exception. Feet were not soaked, asked for callous treatment, ignored me. Nails were short but never trimmed, shaped, filed a bit very fast. Man doing my nails was sniffing entire time, mask falling off, should have just left, feet snd all. Why wear a mask if you cant wear it properly. May need retraining, disappointed, will share thoughts with friends when they need a recommendation. Oh I redid my nails feet at home. So much for joy!

Dropped my daughter and her friend off to get their nails done . They were taken advantage of! Their nails look horrible and they were charged top dollar . There is no reason their nails should have cost $70 for a basic acrylic set .
On top of doing a horrible job my daughter said they were rude.
I don’t know how this place has a 4.5 star rating . I feel bad for my daughter and her friend bc they were excited to get their nails done and spent their Christmas money , but were ripped off! They are young teens and we’re taken advantage of . Shameful.

I've been going to signature nails for 2 years now and I REFUSE to go anywhere else to get my nails done. The management is amazing and very kind. The nail techs are very talented and the whole establishment has been able to stay clean and safe during the pandemic. I cannot say enough good things about this nail salon and if you're in the Ypsi/Ann Arbor area you have to give this place a try. Definitely make an appointment and just know that it is attached to the mall but you cannot enter through the mall. My nails have never looked better whether I go with acrylic or dip. LOVE LOVE LOVE

I have been a long time customer here for years but recently there has been a change of stuffs and some of them seems rude. I still went there as I liked the services. But recently i had an awful experience. I made an appointment and told I want a pedicure and a dip manicure over the phone but the person I talked to did not pay attention. When i was there they just pointed to a chair and asked to sit for pedicure, nobody showed up or greeted nor asked what manicure I need for almost 40mins. I tried to find someone and tell that I have a acrylic nail already which needs soaking in order to come

Been a long time customer for YEARS. Made an appointment on Tuesday almost a week in advanced and told them on the phone we had a tight schedule. My mom drove two whole hours up to Ann Arbor. I waited an entire hour to even be looked at or talked to. Meanwhile they were serving walk ins before me giving water, giving extra long hand massages. I finally go talk to the owner (which is something I never do) and ask her to please help us so we aren’t late on tight schedule. She finally brings someone over and they rush to get it done on time. But no extra frills - didn’t even get lotion or anything

First time here and they had super friendly staff! As you can see there was careful detail in the design but more importantly meticulous work in prepping the nails themselves! I’ve gotten many compliments and they are an unbeatable price compared to other salons! They are a small business so don’t forget to tip generously:) and I will definitely come back again!

I walked in on a very busy Sunday afternoon to get a shellac manicure, and they were able to get to me very quickly. I’ll say that several other walk-ins showed up after me and had to wait much longer, but if you get the timing right or make an appointment, the service is great. My only recommendation to the salon is to perhaps play some ambient music— the silence was fine but noticeable.

Customer service is horrible and the scheduling process isn't pleasant, I've been placed on hold while trying to make a appt on the phone and heard the Manager chatting with customers for a total of 4mins before hanging up. It's one thing to check out a customer though this was definitely small talk, and the person was trying to leave, when I hung up and called back the Manager seemed to careless and rushed me off the phone rudely. In the Ann Arbor area you can find another salon with good customer service. Take your money elsewhere.

Worst nail experience I've ever had. I asked for pink and white ombré which costs $55 and has to be done with acrylic powder. My nail lady sat me down and immediately started putting the powder on my nails, didn't even file my nails, touch my cuticles, literally gave my nails no prep whatsoever. I was confused but assumed she would just do it after the powder was on? That wasn't the case, because she spent literally a second on each nail filing the acrylic just to appear as if she was doing something while she was looking somewhere completely else. She didn't even buff them

I have had wonderful experiences with Signature Nails in the past. I brought my entire wedding party there the day before my wedding in 2019. I've continued to periodically get a mani pedi there since. My last two (Covid era) visits were not up to par with my past experiences. I of course have a level of understanding that some things have to change during Covid so I decided to go in one more time. With an appointment I still had to wait 35 minutes to be seated. While they do a great job, the wait is crazy. I visited today and was told 35-40mins. After over an hour, and a lot of people still waiting, I decided to leave. After 2 HOURS, I finally got a text saying they were ready for me. Really?! How did 35-40mins turn into 2 hours?!?!? And who has 2 hours to wait for a pedicure?! No thanks.

This is usually my go to nail salon, a new gal did my french dipped nails today and they look awful. First my nails were all decent length but 2 were a little shorter so I asked if she could put tips on just those two nails, she said no she needed to cut all my nails off short and put tips on all of them so they would match. (Found out why when I went to pay, I was charged an additional $20 for the tips). So she cut my nails all off put on tips, I had asked her before starting if she could cut my cuticles and she ignored me. She put like double the amount of coats of dip on than they normally

I used to come here all the time and never had a problem. Prices were decent, and my nails would usually last. However, the last few times I came here I noticed that they would up-charge person to person. If they included tips in the price, they should mention it somewhere, not to mention the fact that I try to tip at least $5-10 every time I come either way. They charged me $40 for a mani-pedi and they charged my friend $50 for literally the same mani-pedi. On top of this, my polish chipped off literally within the day, not to mention my nail was bleeding so much that I had to go to the bathroom

I've been to signature at least four or five times now. They're relatively new, still only a couple years old. They're located between Von Maur and Jc Penney at Briarwood mall. They only have an exterior entrance though so enter through the parking lot.
The place is gleaming and huge. I got a pedicure today that was supposed to include a callous removing treatment. As you can see in the pics, my heels can still shred sheets! When I asked about the callous remover I was told that due to COVID-19 they could only use the disposable pumice stone, which does absolutely nothing! So basically I paid for polish and a chair massage. Don't waste your time or money. Take your business elsewhere!

I got a basic manicure and i'm sorry to say that after 3 days my nails started chipping. One of my favorite parts about manicures is the mini hand massage but this was skipped for me. Normally I wouldn't mind, but my manicure cost $16.
If you're looking for a seriously fast manicure - this is the place. However, getting my nails done is a luxury and I like when the technician takes their time.

So, it was recently my very first time here after getting recommended by my roommate. I have been trying different nail salons all over Ann Arbor trying to find one that I could use as a regular salon since I like keeping my nails looking nice all the time.
Well, walking in, the decor was really nice and it definitely looked a little upscale. They even have wine that you can drink for free, to include many other drink options. That's definitely a plus in my book.

And, I was desperate. In retrospect, I wish that I had skipped the manicure in favor of healthy, unpolished nails. Narcissism: Forever a downfall.
