I have been coming to Mitos For Hair for a few years now and have had my hair colored and cut by Mitos, Mikayla, April, and Kayla so far - never a bad experience! I love that I can make my appt online (without talking to anyone) and get someone consistently good, even as my own taste and preferences change. Everyone I have interacted with is kind and the space is always clean. Since COVID, I have felt safe with their precautions.

I was able to get an appointment quickly which was so nice! The ladies who were there the day I came in were very friendly. I was originally scheduled with someone who had to cancel but she got me in with her colleague on the same day which was great! I will definitely come back here for another cut and color.

I have a video of the service done for a vlog. No flat iron was done at all. Just hair wash. April from the salon mentioned that each stylist is an independent business and charges as they wish. If I went to her she would have charged me total 40$ with hair wash and flat iron.

I hate to do this, but this is the worst hair cut I have ever had. I have curly course hair, I asked for blended long layers. I now have sort of a bowl cut on top with long layers underneath. Its impossible to style. I've tried straightening, curling, air dry, mousse, styling cream. This hair cut is impervious to my tried and true methods of correction. This is going to take a couple of years to grow out. I'm very sad.

I will give 10 stars if I could for this excellent service by Mitos for hair! My stylist / colorist Mitos (owner) is unbeatable! I've been going to her salon for couple years for Keratin and Highlights and she really take good care of you, she would give you advice and recommend products to keep your hair healthy. I've been coming to Mitos For Hair for years now, and they never disappoint! They can get a bit busy so be sure to book an appointment well before you want to get your hair done, but it's definitely worth the wait. :)
I've gotten both color and cut done by Mitos and Chantel and they're both very sweet and helpful. Mitos is really great about using and recommending hair products that fit best with my hair type as well. Definitely a recommendation from me!

I can't rave about Mitos enough! I've been getting my hair dyed by Janette for years but recently she's been cutting my daughters hair & we're absolutely obsessed! She gives my daughter soo much confidence in herself My daughter was feels so much better about herself with her haircut & I know that's because Janette makes her feel so comfortable & beautiful from the inside out! Beware of this place! !!!!They are big liars.I took appointment for hair color before I head for my vacation. My vacation plan was totally spoiled because of Josie.Don't ever choose the lady Josie. She is very rude and she doesn't no how to interact with customer. First she applied bleach for strand testing,she took almost about 40mins. Once the procedure is done she mentioned I have more hair and also my hair is long that's the reason she needs to charge more and she cannot do it for agreed price. Kayla took care of my hair cut and coloring. She was super sweet, patient, and explained the process throughout. She checked in with me via text the day before to get pictures of the color I was thinking along with my current hair color. She was very careful about confirming the color and highlights I wanted right before toning as well. I've only colored my hair once before and previously, it took two sessions to get it light enough for my final color. Mitos For Hair is a salon that you can count on for quality service. I always walk out of here feeling confident and satisfied with the results of my haircut/color/updo. I currently get my haircut, color, and balayage done by Paula, and I love how much attention to detail she gives with the scissors. I wanted to go lighter for the summer so I came in with an appointment with that intention. They sure delivered I'm super happy with my hair and will probably touch up my roots if I want to stick to this color.

Ive been going to Tita Mitos' for years now and everytime she does my hair I would always get a compliment. She would always try to accomodate me even for a short notice too. When it comes to hair color she also does a great job! She would give me tips on how to maintain the color longer, how to basically keep my hair healthy.
I would definitely recommend her and her crew coz I know they would do a wonderful job on you. They will make you more beautiful and confident.

You must book your appointment with your stylist prior to coming, and a questionnaire is sent to you prior to your appointment to ensure you are meeting the safety standards before coming. Call or text to let your stylist know you're outside the salon and you must wait in your car until your stylist is ready for you to come in. Your temperature is checked at the front desk.

I came here last month to get a side undercut (is it called a side cut?). I set up an appointment with Kayla, after reading some of the yelp reviews. She was great to talk to, and mentioned her sister gets the same undercut :) I wanted to transition from a straight undercut to a side undercut and Kayla went over every step with me, making sure the length and location was exactly what I wanted. She also added a couple of lines which looked cool, and was nice enough to charge me the men's rate of 35$. The salon itself gets a bit crowded but it was a good experience overall. Hairstylists here are talented and attentive. They really do listen to you when you tell them what you want. They spend more time than usual trying to understand your hair type and routine so you don't end up with something that only looks good in the salon. I think it's important that the stylists themselves have a good aesthetic sense.. I came out of the salon finally understanding how and why celebrities always seem to have amazing hair.

Went here to get a cut and color. The color bled on towels and clothes after multiple washes for more than 6 weeks! I thought of giving the place a second chance. Went again and just to get a touch-up it took 2.5 hours! After mentioning that I have a toddler at home waiting for me, April finally washed my hair and I had to refuse to get my hair dried...it would've taken much longer. After spending $85 bucks on a touch-up and walking out with wet hair...I decided I won't be going here again. Save your money! There are plenty of other places with much better service!
