SMPK is an accredited half-day program offering interactive learning for ages 2 through Kindergarten. Our Preschool & Kindergarten programs are accredited through GAC, as well as holding an exemption status from BFTS for our lower Pre-K.
We are not a Georgia Lottery Pre-K. We do not accept CAPS. We offer affordable tuition for your preschooler, as well as a competitive tuition for our Kindergarten program. Registration fees do apply for all incoming students. We are located in downtown Stockbridge, behind Stockbridge First United Methodist Church (the "pumpkin church").

SMPK offers an accredited, interactive learning environment for early education. Our unique thematic curriculum incorporates academic standards in a Christian-based atmosphere resulting in a classroom where your child feels safe, loved, and prepared for future educational endeavors. Classes begin promptly at 9:00 am.
Our Mission: We are a ministry of Stockbridge First United Methodist Church. The purpose set forth at SMPK is to educate the whole child, focusing on spiritual growth, emotional maturity, and a solid academic foundation. With God's guidance, we seek to create a learning environment that helps children develop a love for learning as well as to build the character and self-esteem necessary to the social/emotional and academic growth of the child.
At SMPK we employ a unique "thematic" curriculum to teach both Lower and Upper Preschoolers. The children learn new concepts and academics through a variety of hands-on experiences and interactive learning. We encourage activities such as science experiments, graphing, cooking projects, painting, drawing, learning games, creative writing, and use of manipulatives.
Our half-day kindergarten program provides your child with a classical learning experience that ensures a solid educational foundation, as well as nurturing and training the whole child. We provide a positive learning environment that stimulates intellectual, social/emotional, and spiritual growth to build a confident learner.

Wish could give less than half a star. It is sad when a church singles out a child over them not taking the time to get to know the child. You are supposed to help the child grow and give them confidence like the good Lord preached. This is a preschool that casts the stones when they have no right. Children are pure and the way mine was treated at this one has caused questions towards the entire community linked to this so called education foundation. Do not, I repeat, do not enroll your child here.
