Primavera Preschool

Join us for an open house at one of our two locations. We will take a tour of the outdoor and indoor space, learn about Primavera's curriculum and pedagogy, meet the directors and teachers, and participate in a Q&A session. Primavera Preschool is a Spanish and Nature Immersion preschool offering a play-based and holistic learning experience.

Our preschool offers a community garden space, playful indoor space, and a warm team dedicated to helping our children learn and grow. We focus on the interests of our children, our community, and the world. At Primavera, we foster a family atmosphere, teaching our children how to communicate, play, and work with love.
Services
At Primavera, we embed all of our learning objectives into themes, using the seasons, native plants and animals, math, science, social studies, and social development. Our preschool offers a community garden space that allows the children to grow the food that we cook for lunch. Students are involved in our farm to table approach, cooking their own lunch once a month.
Students practice breath control, balance, relaxation techniques, concentration, posture and stretching. There is always something to learn, create, reenact, build, draw, paint, and color during small circle times. We offer a vegetarian, organic home-style lunch that includes a variety of vegetables, whole grains, and a protein.
Primavera maintains a low student-teacher ratio. Our Spanish Immersion program means that our teachers speak primarily Spanish with the children. Our staff is bilingual to provide seamless communication to our parents. We currently have four classes: Ardillas, Pandas, Hormigas, and Tortugas (class descriptions).
