Obtaining a verified Jurisdictional Wetland Delineation (JWD) from the Army Corps of Engineers should be amongst the first steps in planning for developing or altering a parcel of residential or commercial land. The verified JWD establishes a quantified record of the Waters of the US that occur on the property.
EPC currently manages two mitigation banks with service areas that incorporate much of the upstate of South Carolina. This Comparison Table compares and details the HUC watersheds and ecoregions serviced by the banks we manage. Owned by Hollingsworth Funds and operated by Environmental Permitting Consultants Inc., the Grove Creek Mitigation Bank is the first mitigation bank to service the Upstate of South Carolina.
7. Wetlands adjacent to waters (other than waters that are themselves wetlands) identified in paragraphs (a)(1)-(6) of this section. Laura Belanger is a principal at EPC and manages the Greenville Office and Grove Creek Mitigation Bank. Laura has extensive experience in regulatory processes and issues throughout the Southeast. As the manager of the Greenville office Laura oversees all stages of EPC projects in the upstate, from proposal submittal to final documentation.
