If I could give this facility zero stars I would do just that. This place is horrible!!! The staff is negligent and far from caring. My aunt is housed there and she complains that her food is always ice cold when she receives it. We drop off food to the facility for her and, sometimes, she doesn't even receive it. The staff doesn't deliver the food to her room, so I believe they are eating it themselves. I plan to report the facility to Social Services if the quality of care my aunt is receiving does not improve. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT send your loved ones to this facility.

I’m writing on behalf of my grandfather who has been placed in the mentioned facility. He is 70 years old. He is a recent laryngectomy patient and is unable to speak. He has been in the Deanwood facility since December 1, 2021. Since being in this facility my grandfather has been treated poorly. His health is poor as well as his care is poor. Since being in this facility my grandfather has had 3 incidents of having to be rushed to the hospital. One in which could’ve been fatal. This facility hasn’t done anything to improve my grandfathers health. My grandfather is supposed to have OT, PT

The staff takes to long to answer the call bell and they claim not to know about a current situation because they are not brought up to date with the previous staff as the shift changes. The social worker (Bass) didn’t even try to correct my medical insurance problem so I had to contact them myself and then pass the paperwork on to her then follow up to make sure she did what needed to be done. I was told that I was about to be released but the social worker didn’t come to my room to make sure I would have everything needed for an easy transition back home. The late staff only has one person

This place is horrible. I had a relative stay here for a couple of months to get rehabilitated and I often visited her here and I hated it. First thing is that there is only one elevator working and it is always busy. At time you have to stand in line to get on the elevator, then once you get on its crowed. Second this place smells bad. All the patients are in wheel chairs and it seems that they mess on themselves all day and the lazy nurses does nothing which cause the entire building to smell. Lastly there are many junkies in this facility. They sell drugs in and out of this place. They also

My dad was just transferred to Deanwood and I was concerned because of the mixed (but mostly bad) reviews I read. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival at how nice and helpful the staff were from initial entry until exit. The lobby was nice and clean. Prior to arriving, they contacted us to let us know he was there, they contacted us for authorization to provide medical services. When my sister and I arrived, we were able to meet his doctor and discuss his status and we talked to his nurses about his on-going care. We had a couple of concerns about how they were caring for my dad, but ounce we
