Image Optical is committed to the highest level of professional eye care for our patients. Periodic eye and vision examinations are an important part of a comprehensive healthy lifestyle. Since many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms, people are often unaware of any problems that may exist.
Squinting at computer, tablet, or mobile screens for hours at a time is a normal part of our lives in the 21st century. Unfortunately, eye problems associated with this activity are also on the rise. Even if you have never had eye problems before, you may have noticed computer vision syndrome symptoms after two or more hours of screen time.
At Image Optical, we strive to provide comprehensive, primary eye care for the whole family. Preventative and routine eye exams are important to maintaining good eye health. Often, eye and vision problems do not have obvious symptoms or signs, but are easily diagnosed by a licensed optometrist. By diagnosing eye and vision conditions early on, our optometrist is able provide treatment options and in many cases restore or prevent vision loss.
Contact lenses are not an easy solution for every person suffering with vision problems. Some eye conditions make wearing contacts a difficult proposition. However, it does not rule out wearing contact lenses altogether. It just means patients need to discuss options with their eye care provider and obtain specialized hard to fit contacts for their specific vision problems.

The doctor Clark and his secretary seem nice at the beginning but when you deal with them they are unprofessional and they have poor customer service. I had a bad experience on this place because Doctor Clark ordered lenses for my 2 glasses on 07-02-2021 and he said they gonna take 2 weeks to be done. Believe me Guys they took 6 months and every time when I called him about my lenses either he does not answer or he made me a story until I reached 6month of waiting. In addition When I went last time to know the status of my 2 glasses he was mad on me and he was completely unprofessional, at the

I went into his office & did all the usual stuff you would do & he took my money & never gave me my glasses & apparently I'm not the only one that has gone & they had to go through the same thing how is this guy still in business after screwing me & other people over for the last how ever many years

ATTENTION: I visited this location to replace my safety glasses I wear for work, just a little important. Dr Clark is nice, and seemed to be knowledgeable, but this has proven to be incorrect. I am currently waiting for a 3rd time for my glasses, OVER 2 MONTHS! The first time, the prescription was WAY off. Second time, supposedly corrected, something was still off. He said it was due to them being safety glasses, total BS. I was asked to wear them for a day to give them a try. I went two days, and my eyes could not adjust. Not only that, but just looking off center of the lens everything

This is 3rd time I’ve been to this optometrist. All three times my stuff came late, the first time it was 3 months for lenses and keep in mind this is precovid. The second time I ordered contacts and was told it would come in within 2 weeks, in reality it took them 3 months. The most recent one was lenses as well, and to this day I don’t have them, it has been over 6 months and I still don’t have them. I’m starting to think this is just an insurance fraud and that they will only give you what you pay for if you keep contacting them. I will never come back again.

I'm new to the area and needed new glasses quickly. The front end team was able to schedule me in the next day. I found their facilities modern and stylish. After a short wait Dr. Clark came out to greet me. He was both personable and polite. Thank you. You have definitely earned a new customer for duration of our time in Columbus.

First time I came here the first customer I saw she was already complaining about her contacts lenses and how it was taking forever ,how she was unhappy with their service. And asked for her money back. I didnt think that this would happen to me the same way. Omg I should have left that day when I saw that . First of all its been almost 5 month's and I haven't still got my contact lenses..i been calling them and no one will get back with me all they do is just send me a text after I leave them a massage how disappointed i am with their service. This is horrible I feel like this place is fraud.

I agree that the doctor is very personable, kind and seems to know what he's doing. But the service with actually receiving what I ordered was anything but.

I also had the same issues with receiving my contacts order, same as the other reviews below. It took 6+ months to get them and there were repeated phone calls and unanswered emails.

Similar to the comments below, wish I would have browsed on yelp prior to scheduling, and ordering from Image Optical. I'd like to start by saying Dr.Clark is a very nice, friendly, competent who made a strong first impression.

However, a significant amount of time has now passed and my wife and I are still waiting on our glasses, and contacts order. We have emailed, left voicemails, and have failed to receive even a courteous call back. Patience is not an issue for us, however would not like to be misled upon delivery .

I do not know if Dr Clark is at blame for the ordering logistics, but

I would recommend Dr. Todd Clark to anyone in need of a professional and caring eye doctor. Dr Todd Clark is an excellent eye doctor , who displays concern for his patients through action, not just words! We had an eye emergency on a Sunday evening and he called us right back and was there for us through the entire process. Exceptional!!

Stay away!!!!!! I ordered contact lenses after an exam almost 3 months ago. I called to see where my contacts were after 2 months and no communication- I had to call into the office and leave a message 3 times before getting a very snarky call back from the office secretary who said "didn't u get my email this morning?" I said no- due to the fact that this office emails constantly I have blocked their email communication. Plus I've been asking for a CALL back NOT an email. I was told it wasn't their fault, that there's a back order. It's been 2 weeks since then, I called again over 48 hours ago

Unfortunately I am having a similar experience to other patients. I went for an exam in December, paid for a year supply of contacts and have yet to receive them come May. At first the responses were "they're on their way." After two months they stopped answering calls and emails. I moved out of state or I would stop in personally. I have asked for a refund multiple times, as I have had to purchase contacts elsewhere. No response. Save yourself the headache and your insurance money for a business that actually gives you what you pay for.

PLEASE READ. I created a Yelp account for the sole purpose to warn everyone how terrible Image Optical is. The actual office setting is clean and organized and I felt like Dr. Clark conducted an adequate exam when I went to him for an annual visit. I then proceeded to order a 12 month supply of contacts. The contacts took over SEVEN weeks to come in. I have been ordering a 12 month supply of contacts for the last 13 years through at least three different offices and have never waited more than a week to receive them. I have seen Dr. Clark twice in the last 3 years. Both times, I had an eye exam and ordered contacts. Both times, I was lied to about when my contacts would arrive. Most recently, I was seen on 2/4, told my lenses would be in by 2/16. Today is 3/21, and they still don't have them. I have repeatedly called and asked about them, and it's always, "they'll be in this week" with no communication until I call. The first time I saw him, and it ended up taking 6 weeks.

I was referred to this eye doctor by a friend. Nice personal feel in the office. Very nice clean and crisp decor. I was in and out in 30 minutes for my exam which was nice during the busy work day. Dr. Clark and his staff are very nice and professional. I'm usually a contact kinda gal but I need some new frames as mine are way outdated. Dr. Clark let me know that he will be getting some new styles in the next few weeks and suggested I wait to check them out and offered to call me when they were in. I look forward to it!

I've had so many issues with Image Optical that I thought writing a review would be an extreme task however it is seemingly easy considering every other review I've read has taking the words out of my mouth. My only regret now is not reading the reviews BEFORE mistakenly going to Image Optical...I guess the only person I can blame is myself. I went to Image Optical after moving, and I was in desperate need to find a new optometrist. Dr. Clark and his staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. I appreciated their apparent effort toward improving customer service and quality of the overall experience. I'd recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great eye doctor and great selection of eyewear!
