We are big fans of My Guys Moving in RVA. Nancy did a superb job of organizing the pickup and delivery of our treasures. Nancy was excellent with communication, and on pointe with coordinating with the moving company in our State for delivery. She handled all the details seamlessly. We''ve had a number of bad moving experiences, so My Guys was a refreshing change. The estimate was on point with no surprises. The movers were extremely nice and professional. Damon the team lead was excellent. All three of the movers worked really hard. For once a moving company that actually has movers, not just hired muscle.

Having had some less then inspiring moving experiences I was very impressed with My Guys Moving and Storage. They absolutely did exactly what they promised on time both pick up and delivery. The crew was nothing but professional and respectful, a joy to be around, I thank them for doing an excellent Job. If you are in need or a mover look no farther. I had a great experience with My Guys Moving and Storage. I moved last month, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is about to move. I had a lot of stuff, and I must admit I was not fully packed up. They were very kind, and did not make me feel bad about not being fully prepared. They also had very kind and professional demeanors. We’re so happy with our experience, we’ll definitely be suggesting them to friends and to our agent! We did an estimate by phone, got the suggested app to take quick videos of every room to show what was being moved. They estimated 1.5truck and 5 people, to take 9.5hours. Come move day, the team worked so well together and communication was great! The move took just under 7h (which adjusted the price) but also they took everything from our storage!! These guys can haul boxes fast!! Everything was well protected (furniture and walls, door frames..), no incident or even a scratch! Love them!

Team of two, Adrienne and Guy, managed transfer of Relocube contents into a one-bedroom apartment on second floor in a timely manner. They worked professionally, courteously and with complete regard for another person's belongings. This company understands value - nothing was broken or damaged. My Guys were great to work with!! They communicated well, and we knew exactly what to expect the day of the move. The quote we started with was spot on, and a great deal. Day of the move the team arrived promptly, and were all very nice and courteous. We moved from two separate apartments into one in less than five hours! It is hard to put into words the great experience we had with this company. I initially was looking for a quote to help move our office and warehouse. They were able to come out quickly to give us a quote. For move in day, the movers arrived on time; and while they had a HUGE task in our warehouse they got it all done. I could not believe how well… they managed to pack and load the trucks so efficiently. All of the workers were nice through the whole process, and were "moving" the whole time! I would definitely recommend them for any residential or commercial moving needs.

CROOKS, THIEVES, DO NOT USE!! MUST READ!! I had a roommate move out of my house and the movers destroyed the dry wall and the wood railing from the upstairs bedroom to outside including breaking my thermostat. Because I was "only" the owner of the house and not the customer, a claim had to be put through my old roommate. They denied her claim because the movers robbed some of her things during the move including stealing my cable boxes and also stealing from the new roommate so she didn't pay them and they wouldn't do anything to fix my house! I would sincerely appreciate if the owner of this company would contact me. Your company just charged me for two moves when I paid s deposit for one. When I asked to speak to her boss she would not allow me. I told her she did not have authorization to charge my card and she did any how. I called back and she has left the office. Ron and Claude (Chuck) were great! I would strongly recommend them. I only took off a star because of management. Bridget continued to call me multiple times to schedule a move AFTER I had already scheduled a move, and was told I could change my date but they never called to confirm. Only after I called back they told me they didn't switch it--can't even imagine the disaster that would have been. I was told that I needed to purchase two mattress bags that I could keep; in the end I only needed one, and I didn't get to keep them as Bridget advertised. Some minor scratches to be expected

We are moving to a new home locally and were planning to use My Guys for the move. However, we changed course after the horrible customer service we received while trying to schedule and make final arrangements. Their representative, Mike, was incredibly rude and abrasive in responding to questions about the discrepancy in quotes we received. If I'm going to be spending thousands of dollars at your company, I expect to be treated with courtesy and professionalism. We've now made arrangements with a competitor.

Horrible experience, the employees seemed not to know what they were doing. They broke a chair and scratched several pieces of furniture. Had to call the manager during the first hour of moving due the damage/broken pieces and it was worthless. The truck they sent was smaller than what we needed and the total move was 9 hours due the double commute… to load and unload the truck. The job easily could be done faster and better. In the middle of the job, 1 of the 3 employees they sent, decided to leave because he didn’t wanted to work more. I ended up helping the other employees myself

This was our best experience yet! They did a fantastic job wrapping up our furniture and arranging everything thing. They even took the time to assemble my mother’s bedroom furniture set. It was such a relief not to have to do that on my own. They even helped my elderly neighbor with some snow! Thanks guys!

There are a lot of mixed reviews out there, but our experience with My Guys Moving was really good! We were moving about ten minutes up the road and wanted someone to move all the big pieces of furniture and the heavy boxes. My husband called and got a reasonable quote. We were told they'd arrive between 8 & 9am which they did. We were told it would probably be about 4 hours to move everything. It ended up being just slightly less.
