Today was the second best day of my life!! My daughter being born is my first, but today being evaluated for BVD with Dr. Sonneberg is my second. For years I have struggled with my vision. Always thinking my skewed vision, balance issues, sensitivity to light, SEVERE anxiety was secondary to another issue or from one of the many medications prescribed to me over the years or just in my head. I think it’s important to be vulnerable and share the triumphs the Lord provides!
After over a decade of symptoms and seeing all types of doctors, but given no answers. This evening I was diagnosed with Binocular Vision Dysfunction.
In about a week I’ll get my new aligning… prismatic lenses/glasses in the mail. These lenses will adjust the angle through which light enters my eyes which will help correct my vision dysfunction. My left eye was the problem child.

To say that Dr. Sonnenberg is impressive, would be an understatement. I've had the best experiences with her and the team in her office. Everyone is so friendly and made me feel extremelty comfortable. I travel from Orlando to see Dr. Sonnenberg for BVD and I can honestly say that she has changed my life. Her dedication and expertise with BVD is amazing and I am grateful that she has dedicated her career to specialize in something that really impacts peoples' lives. I would recommend her time and time again. She is caring, patient and an expert in her field. Can't go wrong.

I found this office after taking the BVD questionnaire online. It’s over an hour away from me and well worth the travel. Dr Sonneberg / staff were very nice and professional. They have gone above and beyond to help me with my symptoms and leave of absence from work . I also feel that they really take time with you and didn’t rush any part of the process of getting my prism glasses. Highly recommend

Dr. Sonneberg is a disgrace of a doctor. First of all, she does not wear her mask around patients and encourages patients to take off their mask while she has hers off. This is extremely unprofessional as we are in a life threatening pandemic. It clearly shows where her priorities are.
Second of all, she is the least compassionate individual I have ever met in my entire life. She does not have any drive to help her patients succeed and feel better. The vision in one of my eyes is fine and the vision in the other eye isn’t terrible. A few years ago, I started going to the eye doctor every year for a routine eye exam. I went to this place in 2018 and 2019. It was recommended I get prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses after my first appointment here. The prescription was just for my one eye. After I got a concussion in November 2019, I did a Brain MRI, I saw the doctor more than I can remember, went… to an ophthalmologist and also saw a Neuro-Physical Therapist! Everything seemed to be Fine after they did all their tests but I know I WAS NOT!!

If you are looking for a friendly office with the latest equipment and a doctor who will listen to your questions and answer each one. She will provide you with options that will best suit you rather than fill her cash register. The prescription lenses she gave me to try have provided me with better vision than all the eyeglasses I have ever used over the last 60 years. She knows her stuff. Her staff assisted me with clear instructions for easily inserting the lenses which I was able to do in less than 5 minutes.

Great first visit with Dr. Sonnenberg and her wonderful staff today. My 3 daughters and I all had exams and Dr. Sonnenberg was friendly, knowledgable, and easy to understand. Her support staff was equally wonderful. They gave their honest opinions on frames, and listened to what we liked and didn't like while assisting us in choosing. Glad to have found a doctor I can feel comfortable taking my girls to. Highly recommend this beautiful, clean and well staffed office.
