Services
Adaptive, physician-led rehabilitation that keeps you with us only as long as you need (between 14-16 days on average). Compassionate long-term care and specialized services including and tracheostomy care and IV management. Learn more about our five locations near you: Talladega, Albertville, Guntersville, Montgomery and Alabaster, Alabama.
Referrals for inpatients (newly or re-admits) can be made by a physician, hospital discharge planner or social worker, insurance company case manager or a patient's family member, home health, outpatient therapy, etc. Our admissions liaisons will begin the admission process immediately collecting medical and financial information so a decision can be made quickly as possible.
Benefits include BC/BS health and dental insurance, vacation, holiday, bereavement, and 401K retirement. Assisting residents with daily bath, dressing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, positioning in and out of bed, chairs, bathtubs, etc. Providing nursing functions as directed by Supervisor including peri-care, catheter care, turning residents in bed, taking vital signs, etc.

With a one-on-one, personalized, rigorous rehabilitation and a physician-led approach, we are dedicated to helping patients achieve the best, most successful recovery possible in the shortest time possible.
The safety and security of your loved one is our highest priority while they are in our care. From ensuring that patients do not wander to providing ADA-compliant assistance devices throughout our facility, we've taken a number of steps to make certain all of our patients, staff and visitors are comfortable and safe while they are with us.

My Uncle was recently admitted to this rehab facility after a long move from out of state. Everybody has been so kind to him and his visitors alike as he transitioned to the rehab center from a hospital in Michigan! What could have been an even more overwhelming event for him has been made a bit easier by your caring and friendly staff. Thank you!

If you are ever in a situation that you need rehab for yourself or a loved one this is the place to choose.
The compassion shown for my father was above what I'd hoped. I had questions of course throughout his stay and was always answered promptly and in a manner in which I could comprehend. His rehab process was not by any means easy on any of us but with all the effort and dedication given to him it was a success. I'm thankful to the facility and all those that cared for him!!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place was terrible. My grandmother was sent here after having surgery and she ended up with so many bed sores that she’s now recovering from. This place set her back so far recovery wise. She almost died in here but luckily someone was observant enough to realize she was almost dead and called 911. She was transferred to ICU and we weren’t called. Her hair was matted to her head. There was blood in her catheter. A majority of the fluid in it was blood. The “head nurse” / supervisor of that wing was oblivious to anything and everything

PAYROLL: YOU DO NOT GET PAID ON TIME! The whole facility is UNORGANIZED. The staff is OK. Far as sending a love one there to stay short or long term. Is a HELL NO!!! The stay complaining about the food. It's just a lot! Red flags everywhere. The only time they want to do everything by the book is when state comes. Sad!

This is the most worst place I have ever been to the people and staff here do not help each other out much less care about the people that are there needing help after surgery! I know two different incidences for people that was there after surgery come out fine and then had some complications and let the nurses know and the nurses brushed it off as no big deal! NOW their dead thanks to Shelby Ridge Nursing Home!! I would not recommend any friends family members or not even an enemy to go to that place.
