In order to service our clients quickly and efficiently, we are always looking for technicians who can install and service Marine Electronics, Radars, Autopilots, GPS Satallite communication systems, VHF and HF radios, etc. Applicants must be motivated, self starters, with their own tools and transportation.
1 The return date is no more than 15 days after the item is received by the customer with the exception of active satellite phones. ALL SALES ARE FINAL FOR ACTIVE SATELLITE PHONES, and SOFTWARE PRODUCTS. A re-stocking fee and an early cancellation fee will apply to the return of any active satellite phone.
Depending on our customer's needs, we can install everything from a simple VHF Radio to a complex system integrating the radar, plotter, fish finder, VHF radio, satellite compass, satellite phone, and entertainment systems into one seamless operation. Our technicians are NMEA certified and we deliver the best in sales, service and installation in Southern California and we'll hook you up with rebates whenever possible.
We troubleshoot and repair radars, plotters, autopilots, GPS units, AIS, VHF radios, sonars, satellite phones, audio visual equipment, fish finders, etc. At Alcom, we will work with you to find the best solution for the problem you are experiencing, whether that means troubleshooting and repairing your current equipment, or helping you upgrade to get the most out of your time, money, and the equipment.

I needed to install a new Airmar transducer. I wanted to make sure it was done right so I called Airmar. They said that if I go to a certified installer that I would get a 3 year extended warranty. They gave me the names of a few in my area and Alcom was one of them. I called Alcom and spoke to Todd and told him about the certified installation and about wanting the 3 year extended warranty. He said yeah "we can do that". That was a lie.
They sent me to a shipyard and instead of installing it themselves, Alcom told me to have the shipyard install the transducer and all they would need to do is

Just use another company
Bad installers and zero customer service. They couldn't properly install a fuel management gauge in my boat. If they can't install that, which only has a few wire connections, or a simple VHF radio, what are the chances of them wiring up your important, life saving electronics. For your own peace of mind and safety on the seas do not use this company.

Set up an appointment to have them come to the boat because they were highly recommended. Showed up to the boat and waited hours with no call. I finally called them and they forgot about me. Totally understand things come up. But I would've appreciated a call. Lots of other options out there no need to wait.

I have been utilizing Al-Com Marine Electronics for almost 15 years. My experience has always been great. These folks do a professional installation, give good recommendations, and really know their stuff. Plus, usually when you call them, they will be out at your boat within a relatively short time. I have had them install three generations of Raymarine gear on my Sea Ray over 15 years and each time the installation has been perfect, on-time, and within the cost estimate provided. I have nothing but good things to say about Al-Com.
