Advanced Marine Service is a family owned and operated full-service marine repair business serving the Orange County area since 1999 and specializing in gasoline 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine repairs. We are an Evinrude Johnson factory authorized full-service repair facility. We provide top-of-the-line outboard engine repair work on all Evinrude E-TEC and Johnson FICHT outboard engines, as well as parts, warranty, and general maintenance services.
At Advanced Marine Service, our full service marine repair shop for marine repair services is available to take care of all your boating repair needs from routine maintenance to the unexpected repair. We are an authorized warranty repair center for BRP's Evinrude Johnson products and our technicians are factory certified.

I chose them over another shop which looked like an abandoned trailer park who could take me earlier but I wanted to wait for Advanced Marine!!
They are honest.. They do what they say they're going to do, and they charge what they say they're going to charge. (Only thing is, they run about a month lead time. You need to call to get an appointment).. They even came out for a "house call" last summer when we had throttle/shifting issues and did not charge me!!

My boat was starting up fine until i took it here to fix my fuel issue they said they removed all the wires and cleaned it i noticed one of my batteries was fried it wasnt before now it wont even start what a bunch of crooks. i will be seeking to sue them dont trust them and dont take your boat here they are very rude and unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with

I had the pleasure to Meet with David and Denise here at Advance Marine Service. Took my boat in Wednesday and picked it up today Friday the 15th. David diagnosed my sportjet and figured out the problem another boat shop couldn't. Im glad I took my business here and will in the future for anything else boat related. For years I have read and heard great things about Advanced Marine through the fishing/boating community. I recently bought a boat that sat for years at the marina and needed a lot of attention to bring it back to life. I went to several local boat shops close to me and rather than work on my current engines, every shop wanted to "sell" me new motors to the tune of $35,000 to $50,000 without even looking at what I had.

I drove over an hour to get here. And was thinking if i had to leave my outboard engine over the weekend here. Nope! that wasn't the case. Lol. I was greeted by Derek. And told him my outboard motor needed the carb cleaned. He asked me if i had time to wait. He did it right there and was Fast and Efficient at his work. Good attitude and knows his knowledge with Marine equipment. Good prices. Will come back again

David, the owner is just great to work with. He has been working on boats for 35 years and his son, over 20 years. I had a random engine miss that 3 other shops couldn't find. In 1 day David and his crew had my 140hp Mercruiser running perfectly. I am about 32 miles from his Huntington Beach location and would drive twice that far if necessary. Highly recommend using Advanced Marine for all your boat repairs, fair pricing, great service and family owned.

David at Advanced Marine is an absolute must have in your corner if you want to keep your power boat running reliably for years to come. I've taken 3 different older/used boats to David over the last 5 years and he has not let me down once. Out of the 20+ times he's worked on my boats, there has been only one minor instance of his work malfunctioning (a badly corroded seal failed in my outdrive, and wasn't actually his fault) but on that occasion he re-did the work at no charge, in under 2 hours, on a Saturday morning, while I waited. I was in Catalina by late-afternoon. David is a man of few words
