House was filthy and pictures online were nothing like the actual house. Carpet, walls, floors, dishes, kitchen table and ceiling fans all dirty. No dressers in some bedrooms. Some beds were extremely uncomfortable. We were there for a month and had to put our clothes on the floor. Wifi and cable were sporadic. Nothing as advertised-I was sad to have my grandkids there.

The home we rented from this company was nice and relatively clean with the exception of construction materials (roofing tacks, nails) being left along the walkway to the entrance. The location was also magnificent, what I didn’t appreciate was getting a phone call in the middle of my stay asking when would be a good time the next morning for an agent to come by to show perspective buyers the home I was renting for that weekend. After explaining that we would be there all day and since we were paying over $500 a day for our stay we didn’t want to have to leave in the middle of it so that someone

We rented a house from Meyer Vacation Rentals in Orange Beach, Alabama in August 2021. We paid over $6,000.00 for a house on the beach for 5 nights that was NOT ready to be rented. Half of the windows in the house had hurricane shutters that were closed BLOCKING our views that we paid so much money to enjoy. We complained about it but this was NEVER fixed. Half of the TVs in the house did not work. A repairman came out and fixed some of them. The ice maker did not work. One bathtub did not work (water did not drain). A couple of the bathrooms had mold in them. Most of the pots and pans were disgusting

I recently had a puzzling, frustrating, and entirely unprofessional experience renting the Labacoco East and West duplex offered by Meyer realty.
The trouble began with a property bait and switch, we had reserved a home in Gulf Shores, but prior to our stay were switched to the Labacoco duplex in Fort Morgan due to damage from Hurricane Sally. The original home was not ready for rental, which is understandable given the scale of destruction Sally brought to the area.
Unfortunately Labacoco was also not ready for rental, but that did not stop Meyer from offering the property. The home was far

Pool closed!! Cant take responsibility for their mistakes always make excuses for mistakes instead of owning up to them and just taking action! We called before booking to see if the pool would be operational to which they said yes. We called because other rental agencies had it listed as closed but they insured us it was open to which I do have a recording but, When we arrived the pool was operational but was then closed due to repairs they had planned before we made the reservations. The ac went out and they could not give a time to fix it we just had to wait and stay in room until they arrived

My family and I rented 705 Pelican Point. The location was great and we loved sitting on the balcony. We went to turn the TV on and it did not work. There was 4 TVs and only 1 worked. I called and they told me the owner knew the TV in the living room didn’t work and the owners had ordered a new one but would not be in until we left. She told me she would send someone out to fix the other 2 the next day. Well no one ever showed up. We had small kids so that was a problem. It had 2 bathrooms and neither of the tubs had stoppers for the kids to take a bath. They had a keurig coffee pot so we bought

My first rental from meyer. I was nervous due to other reviews. Rented Boardwalk 686. It was cleaned to my satisfaction! Bed was comfy enough ( all had foam toppers). Kitchen was very nice and well equipped. Even had an air fryer! Plenty of seating. Nice washer/dryer ( doors open close) fridge was kinda small. To be picky, it could use some touch ip
Paint here and there, especially the front door ( dont let that scare you). Each room was cute but not consistent as different floors in each room and cabinets. Overall was great. Will rent again! Parking was fine but not many people here since school

We chose our Unit #502T, Lei Lani, Orange Beach, AL from VRBO online. We could have celebrated our 38th anniversary anywhere. The pictures looked fine. When we arrived, we found the unit maintenance to be a level 3 of 10, the building a level 1 of 10. We called for maintenance and in four days so far, haven't had a response to the order. The toilet seat couldn't be used by men and a long flourescent bulb was out. We sent the following pictures so the company would know that this is what greeted us, not what we left behind. Broken cabinet door, unfinished cabinet, plastic and hooks (dirty) left

We just got back from The Water's Edge at The Beach Club in Gulf Shores/Ft. Morgan. The resort itself is lovely, and this house was also very nice, but it was very dirty and many pieces of furniture are stained, sagging or very worn. We were notified that the house was clean and we could check in early if desired, and that a Meyer's representative may or may not come by to do an onsite inspection. Guessing that didn't happen because there was sand on the bathroom floors; the private pool was not clean; there were balls of lint and dirt in plain sight next to the washer/dryer; cobwebs and dead bugs

Quick and easy check in process. Was a bit confused as to why I couldn't have just received the code by email. It definitely would have made things a LOT easier. Cute condo though and at a decent price. Especially considering we are literally on the beach with a gorgeous Gulf view and an awesome view of sunsets from our private balcony.
Overall, I give them a 4 out of 5 because there was sand on the floor in the bedroom and the tub was dirty as heck. Also because there was absolutely no reason for me to have to stop by the office at like 9pm, with hungry, tired kids, just to get a bunch of pamphlets
