Located in San Francisco, CA, our facility is the private practice of board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. James Anthony. Dr. Anthony is dedicated to providing the best services in plastic surgery that enhance the breast, body, and face for long-lasting, beautiful transformations, as well as nonsurgical skin rejuvenating injectables and other noninvasive solutions.
Dr. James Anthony is a technically gifted, board-certified plastic surgeon who provides aesthetic procedures for his San Francisco and Bay area patients. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Anthony is known for producing natural and enhanced results with rapid recovery times from facial, breast, and body procedures.
Melissa is our friendly Office Manager and Patient Care Coordinator. She has been in the Cosmetics and Beauty industry for 15+ years. She attended San Jose State University and has lived in the Bay Area for most of her life. She has always had a passion for beauty and aesthetics, and is dedicated to seamlessly helping patients throughout their treatment process.
Our office is located in the historic 450 Sutter Building near Union Square in San Francisco. Parking is conveniently located beneath the building. Our 26th (top) floor office has beautiful views of downtown San Francisco, the Bay, and many landmarks including Alcatraz and Coit Tower. It is tastefully furnished to enhance your comfort and respect your privacy.
Since most plastic surgery procedures are performed as outpatient surgery, many patients have come to prefer their surgery to be performed in a surgery center. Surgery centers typically provide a more personal level of care in a smaller facility geared more closely to the needs of plastic surgery patients.

I was a patient several years ago. There were a couple of procedures I had done.
Initially I was impressed by his patient attentiveness and sensitivity. That all changed at the conclusion of my procedure/repair treatments.
There is a flip-side of Dr Anthony. I was unaware and unprepared for the mean, nasty and purposefully physically rough Dr James Anthony. I was left to contend with a "bully". It was scary. I can't be the only one that had this experience...not the first and not the last.
I would highly recommend a female plastic surgeon.

I could not be more satisfied with my experience with Dr. Anthony. I was very apprehensive about scheduling a breast reduction but during my initial consultation I knew immediately that I would be well taken care of. Dr. Anthony is very knowledgeable and puts you at ease answering all of your questions during and after any appointment. In terms of after my surgery, I am so impressed with my results. Dr. Anthony is amazing! Not only is he a very skillful surgeon, he's also a very thoughtful and compassionate doctor!! I love my results! I can recommend Dr. Anthony to anyone who wants to look like themselves but much better and younger. Secondly, Dr. Anthony never tries to sell you anything you don't need. Before my first procedure with Dr. Anthony, I met with a few other surgeons. But I soon realized that they were a little too aggressive about what I actually needed. Also, Dr. Anothony is exceptionally nice. He does make you very comfortable, which is very important. He genuinely cares about his patients and results..

Dr. Anthony is an amazing doctor! I was hesitant to make any changes to my appearance and always felt like a man should just age naturally but after consulting Dr. Anthony I was confident in my decision to tweak a few thing. I could not be more happier with the results - I look refreshed and much younger which in turn helped me tremendously in landing more work projects and in personal life.

Dr. Anthony completely and irreparably ruined my face. I went to Dr. Anthony for a facelift 8 years ago and it has taken me 8 years to write this review. I caution everyone not to go to this doctor. I do not think he should be working anymore. I think he has gotten sloppy and lazy.

This has been a 20 year decision making process and after my consult with Dr. Anthony, I was immediately comfortable. Dr. Anthony and all of his staff is absolutly wonderful! I had a breast augmentation done about a year ago and not only did Dr. Anthony personally text me to see how I was doing he also worked his schedule around mine being I live about a hour north of his office. Ann was flexable with the financial aspect and everyone was very accommodating and sweethearts! Dr. Anthony was very open and honest with what my concerns were and made sure the breast augmentation was on the more natural side and he did the most amazing job!
